RosseauLakeCollege(RLC) isanindependentcoed dayandboardingschool offeringGrade7through Grade12.Itwasestablishedin1967 asanall-boys’school—itbecame coedin1983—onapropertyabouta 2½-hourdrivenorthofToronto.The schoolisintheheartoftheMuskoka regionoccupying56acreswith 4,000feetofshoreline.Thecampus hasatraditional,modernfeel.Itincludesfourboardinghouses,adininghalloverlookingLakeRosseau, twoacademiccentresandoutbuildingsthatsupporttheacademicprogram.Windowslinetheindoorspaces,andthenaturalenvironmentisa constantpresenceinthestudentexperience.Thereareoutdoorclassrooms,includinganaturalamphitheatrebythewater’sedge.

RLCisapreparatoryschoolin theclassicsenseinthatallthestudentsareplanningtoenterpostsecondaryprogrammes.Academics arerigorous,followingaprogressive liberalartsmodel.Theaverageclass sizeisbetween10and15students.
