Share Your Toys Ben

Page 1

Ben was a little boy that loved keeping all his toys organized in his room, he took good care of them, and he didn’t like to leave a mess.

Everyday when Ben got back home and finished his homework, he played with all his toys all day long.

Ben loved taking his toys to show and tell; he liked talking about his toys, even if it took all day long.

One day before Ben got back home from school he invited his friend George to come over to his house and bring his toys too.

When George arrived, Ben greeted him at the door and welcomed him inside.

Ben and George started playing with George’s toys all the time; Ben’s toys were nowhere to be found.

When George asked Ben if he could play with his toys, Ben got really mad.

“You’re never going to play with my toys!”

“Why can’t I play with your toys?”

George got really upset and he wanted to go back home.

“I want to go back home”

Ben regretted the way he talked to his best friend; he didn’t know what to do, or what to say.

Ben went to his mother for advice.

“What's the problem Ben?”

“Mommy there's something I need to

talk to you about”

Ben’s mom got really frustrated, she hated the way Ben treated his friend. “Ben this is not the

way you treat friends!”

Ben thought of the different ways he would approach his friend and apologize to him.

What should I do?

In school, Ben apologized to his best friend and he asked him to come over and play.

When George came over they only played with Ben’s toys and they had a fantastic time

Sharing is fun!

Ben didn’t realize how much fun it would be to share his toys.

Ben had so much fun with George that he gave him one of his favorite toys as a thank you.
