ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition with the mission of unlocking green business ideas, products, services, or innovative technologies to the fight against climate change. Started in the Netherlands in 2014, ClimateLaunchpad has so far reached 60 countries by 2022.
ClimateLaunchpad was organized for the first time in Vietnam in 2019 by the Centre for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy (CCS), with support from Hanns Seidel Foundation Vietnam (HSF). Irish Aid is also a supporter of ClimateLaunchpad in the Asia Pacific region.
ClimateLaunchpad Vietnam 2024 marks the 6th consecutive year that CCS and HSF have organized this competition.

We are developing and promoting plant-based bio-composite products, including bamboo, coffee, and brewer's grain. By replacing single-use plastics with durable and biodegradable alternatives, such as bamboo bio- composites, we aim to reduce plastic waste, lower carbon footprint, promote public health, and raise environmental awareness.

Capture 30% of the market share in the bio-plastic industry within 5 years. Establishment and initial cost reduction. Innovate and develop at least 2 biodegradable composites.
Export to the European and American markets. Become top #1 supplier for local brands in Vietnam by offering the best: price, quality, and reliability.
WHAT WE DO
We have developed an environmentally friendly technology for producing food items from the bamboo forest, such as Bamboo tea leaves, and White dried bamboo shoots. Our innovation creates healthy food while conserving energy and being environmentally responsible.

To obtain more than 30% of active farmer collectives in Binh Phuoc province in 5 years.
To implement our eco-friendly technologies in making foods from agricultural wastes at Binh Phuoc province.

WHAT WE DO
We aim to develop a novel energy storage solution that empowers eco-friendly supercapacitors with electrodes made from durian-derived carbon aerogel. This innovative approach extends the lifespan and improves the power output, while simultaneously reducing environmental impact by upcycling agricultural waste and minimizing toxic battery disposal.
