Music Notes
We are delighted to welcome members of the Island Community Chorus to our service this morning. The chorus presented its final concert of the year, “America in Song”, last night at the Tabernacle under the direction of William Peek. The Island Community Chorus, founded in 1996, is a beloved cultural institution on Martha’s Vineyard – in the words of the Vineyard Gazette, “one of the joys, and certainly the pride, of its community.” Chorus highlights of the past year included their annual Holiday Concert in December and performance of the Vivaldi Gloria with chamber orchestra in April.
