Understanding PCOS Session Plan for the PCOS Awareness Campaign
PCOS is still a stigmatized, misrepresented, and underdiagnosed condition in India; the hush-hush syndrome if you will. This makes dialogues around this condition not only important but also necessary, crucial, and muchneeded. It cannot be emphasized how important it is to recognize PCOS as a chronic condition that one needs to learn to manage. It is a multi-faceted condition that affects numerous aspects of a person’s life. PCOS is a much more common condition than we think.
The project aims exactly at that: to spark a conversation about PCOS and invite people to reflect, learn, discuss and take action. This session plan is designed for organizations/ individuals to host an interactive awareness session within their reach.

Invite each participant to participate in the session and encourage everyone to practice active listening. Avoid asking questions that can be answered with a simple yes/no or other one-word response. Bring relevance to the conversation by posting questions and asking participants to share their own thoughts and insights.
