Amsterdam, January 2017 Over the past few months, we have had much pleasure in working on the new products in this Spring Summer catalogue! Little Wonders of Nature is the name of a new series we have created: small cardboard kits of beetles. The tiniest creatures in nature have been a great source of inspiration for artists and scientists throughout history. Each of the beetles that we made will evoke amazement at their elaborate prints and ingenious design. Build and collect all four of them! The pop out cities of New York, Paris, London and Amsterdam that we introduced in the previous season were received with great enthusiasm. The decision to expand this series was therefore not a difficult one to make. We have now added the metropolitan cities of Shanghai and Tokyo. Dreaming about far-away countries and imaginary travels is an experience anyone can enjoy. We could not help ourselves and also expanded our Cool Cars series: miniature cardboard kits of classic cars that make the heart of many a boy and man beat faster. We have produced new interpretations of the Rolls Royce, Ford Mustang, Jaguar E-type and Citroen DS. They were designed by Remi Taulemesse who completed a work placement with us as a student and recently graduated from the design academy in Toulouse. At our request Remi worked on the new series, with much love and attention to detail. Very special is our new collaboration with Fiep Westendorp BV. Fiep Westendorp is the Netherlands’ most famous illustrator and would have turned 100 years old in 2016. Dutch children have grown up with her drawings for generations. Her drawings have also received a lot of recognition from the international art world. We feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to use Fiep Westendorp’s special drawings to create the series of ‘Tiny Stories to Tell’ pop out cards. ‘Petit h’ is the exceptional Paris atelier of Hermès, founded by Pascale Mussard, where a small, dedicated team of people work on handcrafting unique objects out of scrap materials from Hermès. The designs for these objects are made by a select group of artists and designers from all over the world. It fills us with great pride to be part of this group. Last year, we designed the Mountain Sheep and the Baby Bear. We are proud to show you the beautiful pictures of these latest creations in this catalogue. We are pleased to announce that the launch of our People of the World series in the autumn of last year has resulted in our first donations to the NGO Karm Marg. This is a charity that provides a family-style home near New Delhi for children who due to circumstances cannot be cared for by their own parents. Very special is our new collaboration with Fiep Westendorp BV. Fiep Westendorp is the Netherlands’ most famous illustrator and would have turned 100 years old in 2016. Dutch children have grown up with her drawings for generations. Her drawings have also received a lot of recognition from the international art world. We feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to use Fiep Westendorp’s special drawings to create the series of ‘Tiny Stories to Tell’ pop out cards. During the creative development process and the many hours of leafing through the books with Fiep’s work, we have literally fallen a little in love with Fiep. We are convinced that Fiep’s drawings, interpreted in our signature three-dimensional fashion, will capture the hearts of young and old around the world.

Mountain Sheep
The Mountain Sheep left for Geneva, Switzerland, last November to be exhibited alongside other unique pieces in the Hermès store on wonderful Lake Geneva. In December, the Baby Bear travelled from Paris to Hermès’ flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York for a temporary exhibition. We paid our bear a personal visit in New York and are proud to show you the beautiful pictures of these latest creations in this catalogue.
