Glimpse: The birth of a new planet. On July 2nd, an unprecedented event has been marked in history as a group of scientists were able to capture a photograph of a new planet being born. The planet named as PDS 70b was detected through the means of the tool SPHERE, through a very large telescope from the ESO [European Organization for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere]. The tool is known to be the most compelling tool in existence. These powerful instruments have the ability to obtain measurements in terms of brightness, wavelengths, as well as other resources surrounding a planet. Located approximately 3 billion kilometers away, PDG 70B is observed to be around the distance between Uranus and the sun. The image displays a bright star with a dark center. Astronomers have determined that PDS 70b is a giant gas planet masking temperature up to 1000 degree Celsius, making it the hottest planet in the solar system.

My journey

to overcoming

bullies Dear reader, I never believed in myself. I always doubted myself. I never thought that I was good enough to achieve anything, until I realized that I should not allow bullies to defeat me. I moved to a different country, started at a new school and had to make friends all over again; and all of that was so overwhelming. Kids thought that I was an easy target to bully because of my height (being the shortest), and I was too afraid to defend myself by challenging them as I was constantly teased for having a lisp. At the age of 9, I was just a little girl who was scared and anxious all the time. There were many days when I cried and did not want to return to school, but I knew that it was not possible for me to skip school. I told myself that I just needed to build more confidence. But that wasn’t easy at all, right? I mean how could I build confidence that quickly? I looked forward to weekends, where I didn’t have to worry about my bullies; just me, my music and dancing (my happy place). Dancing has been a part of my life since I was 3 years old. When I dance, I’m in my happy place and forget about all the bad things around me! Every child has a gift, a dream, and a purpose 8

in life. You should never give up or back down because of bullies. You should believe in yourself, never try to be someone else. Like me, you need to find their voice and tell their story! I accepted the fact that I’m short and that I have a lisp, but I know that I’ll eventually grow up and my lisp will eventually disappear. I needed to accept the way I look and speak. I overcame bullying by standing up for myself and not allowing them to push me down. I told my bullies that they should not be jealous because of my accomplishments and they can do exactly the same. My passions are dancing and as I have the freedom to express myself and just be ME! If you have a passion and a talent, you need to use it, don’t let it go to waste. Find your voice and tell your story. Yours Sincerely, Lea Goliath, 11 years old.

Meet the first Saudi woman to climb

the world’s highest mountaints-

RAHA MOHARRAK By Cinta Gibbins

Self described as curious, adventurous and a child at heart, Raha Moharrak is the first Saudi woman to climb the world’s highest mountains including Mount Everest. She describes her passion for traveling as the “color of life”. Through her journey, she has inspired young women and men to follow their dreams despite cultural barriers. Raha is also an advocate for gender equality across different Middle Eastern countries. 1. Briefly introduce yourself

Hello, my name is Raha Moharrak and I am the first, but hopefully not the last Saudi Woman to climb Mount Everest and the seven summits. I’m the youngest of 3, so I have an older brother and sister, and they have taught me so much. If you ask me honestly, I would tell you I am an adventurer. I want to see the world and experience everything as much as I can. Traveling is like having a box of colors and having a beautiful canvas; and not traveling is like having a blank canvas and only wanting two colors to draw. For me traveling is the color of life. It keeps you excited. It gives you so many opportunities to learn and grow. It is tough for me to describe my personality because I’m a bit of a

10

‘chameleon’. I am an introvert who plays an excellent extrovert. I am timid but I can speak to people; I’m extremely curious, but at the same time I’m calculative and cautious; I’m adventurous about everything except food. I love animals; I’ve always loved animals. Maybe I was one in my previous life.

2 What were your favorite things to do as a child? I am as curious as would be. I don’t up (laughs).I think to do as a child adventurous and

an interested child think I ever grew my favorite thing was always being creative. I liked

having fantasies in different worlds. I reinvented myself so many different times. I try as much as I can to be expressive with art. Like I said I loved animals, I had lots of pets growing up. I took care of them; I was like their doctor. I was just one of those people who was always outdoors continuously trying to do new things. I was still active, so I wanted to try different sports. I liked movies, books and loved stories mainly. I read encyclopedias till my eyes hurt.

3- What made you climbing mountains?

start

“Climbing had everything I wanted in

one beautiful box.” What made me start climbing mountains was a lot of different things. I didn’t like it when I told other people I wanted to climb and they said that I couldn’t because I was a Saudi Girl. This is one of the big reasons why I wanted to go climbing. Another reason was that I wanted try something new. I am sporty and athletic, so mountains had that sense of athleticism. When I was on the side of a mountain for weeks, it spoke to the animalistic part of me. It was something new, adventurous, adrenaline sports and dangerous.

4- How many mountains have you climbed so far?

“Mountains have such a beautiful way of explaining to you so much. They can be the best teachers.” I think I have been around 12 or 14 expeditions; 12 mountains in seven continents over a period of 4 years. So I have done a lot. I have never really sat down and counted. Every single one of them has taught me something different. Every single one of them has something special. Every expedition had its own bad and good moments. I never imagined myself doing this. It taught me so much about myself and the world. It helped me be patient.

5- Explain why climbing mountains is a huge accomplishment for a young woman from Saudi Arabia?

Climbing a mountain is a battle in general; but doing it as a woman makes it more difficult. This is because how society perceives us and that makes it more of a struggle. Sometimes I think that the mountain wasn’t as hard as getting to the mountain. All the heartache, pain and the arguments that took place before getting to the mountain, were more of a challenge. It is significant because it proves that we are capable of doing far more than people think we can do in my opinion.

“Mountains have such a beautiful way of explaining to you so much. They can be the best teachers.”

6- How did you manage to convince your parents to allow you to climb mountains?

It took a lot of conversations. Discussions are always the key to growth and evolution. It took a lot of convincing, but it wasn’t just talking. They also saw my determination, drive and will to wake up in the morning and train. I missed my friend’s wedding because I was preparing in the mountains. You can’t ask for something so incredible, you have to prove it. I showed it to them by training and all the sacrifices I made to achieve my goal.

7- What advice would you give to kids on approaching their parents in allowing them to do things out of the norm?

“My advice is to have open conversations with each other with respect and dignity.” Tell them what is on your mind, share your thoughts. Learn how to agree to disagree. Learn to hear no and find the courage to ask why. As a parent, you must listen to your child. It is one of those things we need to work on as both parents and children. They should be more honest and communicate better when it comes to their dreams, wants, and desires.

8- What other ‘mountains’ do you have overcome in your day to day life?

We all have mountains. Not all of us get to climb rock and ice. We have emotional and mental mountains. I struggle almost every day with dyslexia. I have issues with replying to emails; I am shy about posts. I also have a mountain on my shoulders just because I am different; I am not the typical type of Arab woman. That’s one of the challenges I face every day. We all have mini challenges that we overcome on daily basis. Those are the ones that matter because they are the ones that shape us the most.

9- What are your thoughts on gender equality?

I think one of the principals of gender quality is to acknowledge and accept that we are equal but not the same. There is a difference between men and women; but we are equal when it comes to our hopes, dreams, and desires. Parents need to stop differentiating children based on their gender.

10- What advice would you give to young boys and girls who want to do great things?

“Failure is just a part of life you should embrace it, and most people are too afraid to try something new just because of their fear.” Never be scared, there is no shame whatsoever in failing. I don’t think half of the Greats of the world would have reached where they are if they were afraid of failure. The only shame is giving up and not trying something new. Wear your scars with pride because you’ve earned them. They are a sign of perseverance.

11- Who is your favorite superhero?

You are talking to an absolute DC and Marvel fan. As cliché as it sounds, I like Superman because he has powers and he uses it to help people. He also flies and I’ve always wanted to fly, and he doesn’t age, that would be awesome. I am an absolute geek when it comes to these things, so you are asking the right girl. If I were human, I would want to be Batman because you can do a lot of good things with money if you’re smart enough.

HOW TO MAKE PAPERWHEELS By Ayswarya Rajeevan

Paper pinwheels, also known as paper rosettes or paper fans, are commonly found when it comes to home and party decor. The best part about them is that they are easy crafts to make. Follow the below instructions to make your own paper pinwheels.

1. Select your paper and size you want. Just be sure your paper is square. Begin by folding each piece of paper accordion-style, making each fold the same size, or at least as close as possible.

3. Join the two halves together using the thread.

4. Unfold the fanned pages, gluing the two sections together. Voila!! Now you have a pinwheel!

28

Reference: http://twopurplecouches.com/2015/01/how-to-make-paper-pinwheels/

2. Fold each accordion-style page in half.

Now, if you’re like me and want to get more creative, slap some masking tape to the backs of each pinwheel and tape them to the wall. Try out different colours and patterns to decorate your rooms. ISSUE 44 -KIDZ.BLOG! 29

Markhor

The King of the Wild Goats By Pramod Nair

The markhor - Scientific name: Capra falconeri -is a species of wild goat that is native to southern Tajikistan, northeastern Afghanistan, southern Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, northern and central Pakistan, Kashmir in northern India and the Himalayas. This noble looking creature, with its majestic horns, is one of the largest members of the goat family and was considered as an endangered species in 2015, because of hunting and poaching activities. Active conservation efforts of the last few decades have resulted in the increase of the population of Markhor in the wild. Markhor are very agile and they generally prefer steep, stony mountain sides or precipitous grassy slopes. They are usually found at altitudes between 500 to 3500 feet. These diurnal – (active during the day, with a period of sleeping, or inactivity, at night) – animals spent their summer time in higher altitudes and winter at lower altitudes. The perilous terrain that they inhabit made hunting them a real challenge and they were regarded as the ‘greatest prize of Himalayan hunters’ during the nineteenth century.

endangered species in 2015

34

Facts about Markhor •

These wild goats have a body length of 4.4 – 6.2 feet and stand 2.1 – 3.8 feet at the shoulder.

Fully grown markhors can weigh in at around 110 kilograms.

Both male and female markhors have light brown to black colored coat, which is often streaked with grey, and have black & white markings on the lower legs.

The appearance of the coat varies with the seasons. They are smooth and short in summer and will grow thick and longer during the winter season.

One of the most noticeable features of the markhor is their curled, corkscrew shaped horns, which can grow up to 160 cm in males and 25 cm in females.

Markhors subsist on a diet of grass, plants, leaves and other vegetation. They resort to grazing - feeding on growing grass and pasturage – during spring and summer, but feeds by browsing feeding on leaves, twigs, or other high-growing vegetation - during winter.

Markhors become mature for reproduction when they are around 20-30 months and they have a gestation period of 135 -170 days.

Kashmir Markhor (Capra falconeri cashmiriensis), Astor Markhor (Capra falconeri falconeri), Bukharan Markhor (Capra falconeri heptneri), Suleiman Markhor (Capra falconeri jerdoni) and Kabul Markhor (Capra falconeri

megaceros) are the five subspecies of markhor and the shape of their horns slightly differs. •

Wolves, Snow Leopards, Himalayan Lynxs and Black bears are some of the predators, which hunt the markhor.

Markhors were once hunted widely by humans and were on the edge of extinction because of poaching and encroachment on their natural habitats. But conservation efforts like setting up of reservations, strict laws and awareness campaigns have worked positively towards the survival of these species.

The Markhor is the national animal of Pakistan. ISSUE 44 -KIDZ.BLOG! 35

The Northern Pole of Cold

In January 2018, the temperature in Oymyakon, a village of roughly 500 inhabitants in the Yakutia Republic (Sakha) in Russia, plunged to a jawdropping -62°C, and the photographs of daily life and frozen vistas from this village became instant hits on social media platforms. Pictures of people with frostbite, with frozen eyelashes and hair, stacks of frozen fish ready for sale in the markets and people posing with thermometers showing such low temperatures from Oymyakon suddenly made this little remote village a global sensation. But this is not the coldest temperature ever recorded at this village! In 1933, the village earned the title of the coldest place on earth when a temperature of -67.7 °C was recorded at its local weather station. It was the first time such a low temperature was recorded outside Antarctica. This remote Siberian outpost was once a stoppingplace for the reindeer herders during the early 1900s, and today the nearest major city, which is Yakutsk, is about 900 kms away. Oymyakon is situated really close to the Arctic Circle and the land here is in a permanently frozen state. During winter season the village plunges into darkness for up to 21 hours a day with temperature dropping below -50°C.

36

The Poles of Cold are the places in the southern and northern hemispheres where the lowest air temperatures have been recorded. In the northern hemisphere, Oymyakon along with the town of Verkhoyansk – both situated within the Yakutia Republic – are considered as the Poles of Cold. The town of Verkhoyansk is situated about 629 Km from Oymyakon and has a population of about 1300. The lowest temperature ever at Verkhoyansk is -67.6°C, which was recorded in February 1892.

INCREDIBLES 2 – MOVIE REVIEW By Anamika Sunil Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) return to the screens after 14 years, and this time the plot spirals around them reestablishing their superhero identity. Brad Bird (Director) continues to paint a stunning portrait of his characters, as the story focuses on Elastigirl (Helen Parr) who steps out in the field as Mr. Incredible/Bob Parr takes over the domestic duty as a stay at home dad. The heroes in the Incredible Universe are still struggling for a better identity as they have to withhold their unique abilities. This is due to the destruction they caused while saving the world, creating a financial burden for the government. As Elastigirl champions for the prosuperhero movement, she collaborates with Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk), a superhero devotee who heads a telecommunications firm DEVTECH 42

along with his sister Evelyn Deavor (Catherine Keener), hoping to repair the public image of ‘supers.’ The Deavor siblings provide a new home to the Incredibles in order to protect their identity and Elastigirl continues to fight off the bad guys. As compared to the other ‘supers,’ Elastigirl causes the least destruction, which helps in restoring a better public perception. Meanwhile, Bob/ Mr. Incredible discovers their youngest child Jack-Jack’s superpowers, at the same time finding it difficult to adapt to his domestic duties which seems to be stigmatizing the concept of stay-athome parents. Bob’s buddy Frozone ( Samuel. L. Jackson), along with fanfavorite Edna Mode (Brad Bird), the superhero-costume designer, are equally excited about Jack-Jack’s unique abilities. The plot progressively thickens during the second half of

the movie as Elastigirl intrigued by screenslaver, one of the evil forces she fought off, discovers something even more sinister about it. The plot then continues to focus on the superheroes setting up a mission to protect the world from the harmful screenslaver. The story and the characters are quite empowering even after 14 years. The visuals, animation, and details of each character are brilliantly intricate, which is quite a feast for the eyes. The undeniable chemistry between the characters and the witty lines promise to produce some laughs among the audience. Overall, Brad Bird has yet again delivered a classy and memorable movie. To the curious ones out there, yes Frozone packed his suit this time.

My advice: How I protected my child from bullies By Lana Goliath Lea is naturally a cheerful, funny and a pleasant child. However, I noticed a sudden change in her moods when she started becoming very emotional and sensitive. She then opened up to us about the bullying incidents at school and how sad it made her feel (to a point that she didn’t enjoy going to school). At one stage it escalated so much that I arranged a meeting with her teacher. As parents, we are morally obligated to ensure that our children are happy and feel safe at school. We constantly reminded her that it was not her fault that she was being targeted; as bullies usually behave this way because they are probably dealing with issues themselves. We also reminded her that we too were bullied as kids, and gave her positive tips on the best way to deal with the situation. We also taught her to love and accept herself just the way she is,

and reminded her that this was the preparation towards the future against the ‘big bad world’, where not everyone will be nice and kind. We encouraged her to focus on the things that made her happy like dancing and swimming. Lea started modeling this year, It became her natural delight. We constantly reminded her that she is unique and special and that she should never compare herself to other people. Kids form views of themselves based on their friendship groups, hobbies, appearance and how others see and accept them. They constantly need parents to encourage and remind them that they are exceptional individuals who have the ability to achieve great things. They need to know that their parents support them 100%. We as parents shouldn’t constantly point out their faults and evaluate them; they won’t feel like they have our support. Every child needs to know that their parents think the world of them.

Tips for parents •

• •

• • • •

Strive for an open and transparent relationship with your kids so that they can freely come to you at any time when faced with difficult issues. Instill positive attitudes and values within your children. Encourage them to pursue their passions and hone the skills that bring them joy and ability to express themselves. Get them involved in activities that help them feel good about themselves. Teach your children problem solving skills that does not display anger and aggression. Remind them how proud you are of them and how much they mean to you and others. Teach them to love themselves.

from 111 kg to 85 kg:

One Man’s Dramatic Return to Health After Bariatric Surgery Obesity has many causes. While over eating and wrong choice of foods are fairly the common factors, there are a few overweight people who are cast into the obesity net by a cruel blow of fate. Marcus Lynock, a resident of Abu Dhabi, knows this all too well. As a teenager and young adult, he was the picture of health and fitness. A fitness freak and keen outdoorsman, Marcus took pride in his physique, his energy, and his passion for a balanced and nutritious diet.

pressure, cholesterol, sleep apnea, no energy, shopping for big clothes, low self-esteem and depression took over his life. “It was a downward spiral – I couldn’t exercise because of my injured leg, and I was eating what I thought was normal,” Marcus recalls. Fast forward to 2016, weighing 111 kilograms, Marcus happened to meet Dr. Mohammed Al Hadad, Consultant Bariatric Surgeon, Consultant General Surgeon, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery at Healthpoint, during a visit to Healthpoint as part of his job in Abu Dhabi. “I explained my weight problem to Dr. Al Hadad and sought his help,” recalls Marcus. After studying the case, Dr. Al Hadad discussed with Marcus the last-resort option for obesity treatment: bariatric surgery, and advised the gastric bypass– a weight loss procedure in which the top of the stomach is stapled to form a small pouch

“It was a downward spiral – I couldn’t exercise because of my injured leg, and I was eating what I thought was

In a cruel twist of fate, a motorbike accident rendered him nearly immobile some nine years ago. He could no longer exercise, and he turned to food for comfort. Before he knew it, Marcus had become overweight, which soon took a toll on his emotional state. Once lively and sociable, he withdrew into a shell and chose to spend time alone. His rapid weight gain became an excuse to isolate himself, and this led to him adding some more kilos to his frame. Diabetes, high blood

limiting the amount of food that can be eaten at a time, thus reducing the calorie intake. Dr. Al Hadad mobilized his team of bariatric dietitians and his bariatric psychologist to assess Marcus’ physical, emotional and mental state. In addition, Dr. Al Hadad also had Marcus checked for lifestyle-related diseases. “It’s important to check patients intensively for other medical

conditions. The next step is to assemble a multi-disciplinary bariatrics team that will help the patient go through the weight loss journey. Patients are made aware that having bariatric surgery is a major decision on their part and requires lifetime commitment,” said Dr. Al Hadad. When Marcus underwent the medical check-up, he was horrified to find out that he was not just suffering from obesity but from a host of other serious medical conditions, including diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. He says: “I was told I was breathing only 52% of oxygen while I slept and was snoring quite loudly. Oftentimes, I would wake up in the morning feeling very tired! The newly discovered medical conditions just shook me up, and I realized I needed to make some major lifestyle changes.” Marcus was put on maintenance medication for diabetes and high cholesterol, and given a machine to improve his breathing during sleep. “I was agitated and getting impatient, I wanted to do the surgery right away. Dr. Al Hadad wanted me to be both physically and emotionally fit before undergoing the procedure. I was required to lose some weight and demonstrate a commitment to drastic

FAMILY ADVICE

I truly believe that without my family, I would not have achieved my goal. It may seem easy telling them what to do, but you need to do it with them. Eat with them, exercise with them, push them, support them; but do not tell to them it is easy because it is not. Do things that do not seem like exercise; put the iPad down and get them outside. My wife used this tactic; “Let’s go for a coffee”, and before I knew it, we were walking to the coffee shop and back covering 5 miles.

lifestyle changes. The psychologist recommended the right approach after assessing my personality, while the dietitian made sure I was eating both the right type of food and the right amount,” adds Marcus. Marcus eventually met all the criteria and had his surgery on 11 October 2016. “Just before the surgery, I was quite nervous about the procedure but I was made comfortable by Dr. Al Hadad’s team. After the surgery in the morning, I was feeling good and relaxed in the afternoon,” recalls Marcus. “That was a lifechanging day for me. I felt like I had got a new lease of life. The results were dramatic and exceeded his expectations by far”, recalls Marcus. His diabetes was gone a day after the surgery, a few days later his blood pressure was back to normal, and he stopped taking the medication he was taken off his cholesterol maintenance a week later, and he no longer suffers from sleep apnea. Most of all, his self-esteem got a boost, and he was able to switch to a healthier lifestyle. Marcus now weighs 85 kilograms and is as fit as ever. “I feel a lot more energetic now, and I have adopted a much healthier lifestyle,” says Marcus.

ADVICE FROM MARCUS Be prepared for a complete lifestyle change, it is scary and is going to take a lot of hard work and commitment, not just from you but from the whole family. You have to want to do it and have the motivation. Set out goals to achieve. When you get to certain milestones, have rewards. For instance I went scuba diving with sharks when I hit 90kg and this gave me the motivation to achieve even more.

“I am very grateful to Dr. Al Hadad and his team. More than the professionalism and high surgical skills of the team, I appreciate how Dr. Al Hadad and his team treated me before during and after the procedure. To this day, I still get messages from his office asking me about my condition. I’m back to healthy eating, and my waistline is down from 42 inches to 32,” concludes Marcus.

FAMILY SUPPORT

My family support was massive and I would not be where I am now without them. They helped support my change in dietary habits, helped me prepare healthy meals, but most importantly, made the healthy meals exciting. We did the exercises as a family (walking, swimming, bike riding); my wife by my side and even my 3 yr old daughter. We call ourselves “Team Lynock”.

In a large bowl mix cream cheese and butter until its glossy then add the chocolate mixture until it is blended well. Cool the frosting for 1 hour until it is in a spreadable texture. On one cake layer, spread 1 cup of frosting and repeat it with the other two cake layers as well. Frost the remaining cake after the layers are set. Refrigerate and let the cake stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.

Cyber Security Guide:

Tool to protect your kids By Pramod Nair

In our current age, you might have come across the endless issues and paranoia regarding the internet not being a safe haven anymore. From data encryption to password hacking; the chances of online users (especially young users) encountering the dark sides of the internet has become a stark reality. As an internet user, it is extremely important to educate yourself and your kids about safer practices you can adopt. Here is a short guide that will help you and your children overcome the dangers of the cyber world.

54

Your Online Privacy is essential

Secure your devices

The basics of remaining safe and secure while going online is to ensure that your devices are protected and they are upto-date. You should make sure that all the software updates and software patches for the operating system, browser software and security software are periodically applied to keep the computing environment safe. You should also install defensive mechanisms like anti-virus software, anti-malware packages and firewall software on the family computer and other personal devices.

Stranger Danger

In real life we are always taught to be cautious of absolute strangers. In the cyber world too, it is sensible to be on your guard when it comes to unknown online users. Never allow your children to reveal personal details to online strangers. In additions, do not allow strangers to trick you into installing unknown software programs on your computer or make you divulge personal details about you to them.

You should always keep personal and family information private especially when it comes to sharing such details on online platforms. Seemingly innocent pieces of information like your name, email address, date of birth etc left carelessly on social media platforms and online forums can be used by malicious individuals to steal your identity. Always refrain from sharing personal information like name, school name, age, date of birth, address, phone numbers, details of your parents, your family vehicle details, etc. on online platforms. You should also show extreme caution while posting private photographs or videos of your family members on unprotected websites.

Beware of scammers!

Online fraudsters and scammers are always on the lookout of stealing your identity and using it for financial benefits and for posing as you while conducting illegal activities. For this purpose, they employ a variety of scams to dupe you into revealing your personal information and make you visit malicious websites, which install malware software that help them in keeping track of all your online activities. Avoiding emails

and online advertisements offering freebies, gifts and such unbelievable schemes is always recommended to remaining safe.

Protect your Password

As passwords are the key to your online world, you should use extreme caution in selecting and using them. Always keep your passwords safe and personal. While selecting a password, you should make sure it is strong, nonguessable and not any keyword is personally related to your identity. It is a safe practice to use different passwords for each of your online accounts. You can create a relatively strong password by combining alphabets, numbers and special characters in a random order.

Only you yourself!

can

protect

Always keep in mind that whatever actions that you do online are permanent and in most cases cannot be completely removed or reverted back. So think twice before posting anything – be it a simple text message, a photograph or a video

STYLE: Mother & Daughter Lookbook Styling tips by: Behnoush Yaghobi @babynilia

Wearing tutus can never go wrong. So go wild and dress up your little one in tutus as much as you like to basically any occasion. Matching with my little one is always fun but I don’t like over-matching. Just matching the colors, shoes or even just a hair band is super cute and enough. Summer is warm and lovely, so do not be afraid of mixing colors. One of my main concepts when shopping for Nilia, has always been to buy super cute outfits even if it’s just for home use. In this case, dressing your little one can never go wrong.
