The CEC is especially designed for small, minority and women owned business that are interested in growing their companies by increasing profits through successful searches for bid opportunities and submitting writing proposals. The CEC is also very helpful for anyone in a highly established business or an individual who is seeking encouragement in the business development process. Since its inception in 2003, the non-profit CEC (501)(c)(3), has led statewide outreach efforts to increase the probability for the survival and progress of small business through monthly training seminars. The training series is focused on business management principals, business infrastructure requirements, specific research

CEC Seminars We offer seminars that provide procurement and business principle training that drive potential, success, and sustainability to businesses. Our Seminars are designed to “promote and encourage a successful entrepreneurial attitude among small and minority owned businesses, and to develop an entrepreneurial spirit in the youth of the state through education, training and partnership ”

We have hosted over 40 professional seminars annually, with additional classes added as needed to businesses and youth organizations statewide. The CEC has helped to secure 78-120 jobs and won approximately $11 MILLION in contract awards for seminar participants.
