Tadao Ando

Born in 1941, Minato-Ku, Osaka, Japan. Tadao Ando has become one of Japan’s Most Famous Modern Architects.Despite never having been formally trained in the field. His early career included truck driving and boxing before he saw the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo and was taken by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.

His architecture and design are strongly influended by Japanese religion and style, ’ ZEN ’, which focuses on the concept of simplicity and concentrates on inner feeling rather than outward appearane. His work is extremely simple and modern, with expanses of concrete broken by wood, stone, and wide windows. He tries to incoporate changing natural elements like sunlight, wind and rain in his work.

BUKIT JALIL

Site is located at Bukit jalil park (Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a free entrance park with basic facilities provided such as electricity supplies, water supplies, walking trails, exercise stations, playground and others which is suitable for client to stay. The site is belnded with heavy vegetatation and some wild animals like monkey, turtle, bird and fish. Sunrise around at 7:05 am and sunset at 7:23 p.m. It is a tropical climate here. The temperature around 24 -31.5°c and humidity around 44% -87%.

BUOYED OASIS Inspired by Tadao Ando’s innovative design approach, where uniting Japan design traditions such as ‘ZEN’ with modern Western expression. The dwelling expressed simple Scandinavian style with nature elements blended such as light, water and greenery scenes. It reminiscents an oasis in the desert where the dwelling stand alone in the middle of the lake just like a hidden jewel to be discover.
