Cartagena We made it!!! Cartagena has been in our to do list for a long time. I thought the weather was going to be warmer; I was expecting a heat like phoenix in the summer but surprisingly the weather it’s just perfect!!. The first thing that strokes you about Cartagena is how colorful it is.. bright blues, pinks, yellows, red, you name it.. each house is painted with a super bright color. The streets are crowded they are filled of vendors and people walking everywhere.. it could feel like chaos but it is enjoyable. The next few days are packed with work. The big day will be Tuesday where we have schedule the big photo-shoot with Melissa and Fernando. There is still a lot of work to do and it seems there is not enough time to x a tourist.
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting Julia. She is a “Palenquera” who are traditional fruit street vendors. We invited her to be part of the photo-shoot tomorrow, i think it would bring the full Cartagena folklore to the pictures. Look at her!! She is radiant...
