I am so excited to have launched this line this season! TWP offers a little bit for everyone, and a lot for the girl with a tailored but relaxed New York kind of sensibility. If you know me, then you know I love a style that’s worn best with a little attitude, and I think that’s why I’ve fallen in love with “Jenny’s Gown”. Especially in the coated linen viscose fabrication, the cut and the movement are what sells it. It’s emotional, it’s classy, it’s going to be a fan favorite!

I am so excited for the expansion of our Handbag collection. Our new Veronica Beard Handbags are spectacular! We have everything from a small clutch or crossbody, to a roomy suede drawstring, or a stunning large satchel in supple leather or embossed croc. I love that they can take you anywhere from “coffee to cocktails”.
Cream Sweaters - they are SOH good (see what I did there!)
I don’t subscribe to fashion rules on the larger whole but I do have personal guidelines that I have shared with clients over the years.
One of my favorite things in this world is a cream sweater. Therefore, I have given myself permission to acquire any cream sweater even if I own a very similar style. My reasoning behind this sweeping statement is that this workhorse style “feels like me.” I will wear these pieces on repeat again and again. Whereas, I would have to really admire a colored style as I am far less likely to gravitate to those options and find I reach for my bolder choices only once or twice a I am a huge advocate of layering creams and whites for a monochrome look. I admire the combination of textures from cable knits that showcase craft to super cozy cashmere. A lighter palette, to me, reads taller, more columnar as the wearer recalls marble statuary.
The paring down of a palette for me accentuates skin colorations be it the pink of a cheek on porcelain skin to the contrast of chestnut to deep browns.
From SOH, we have a pair of gorgeous luxe cardigans. This slow fashion brand delivers true luxury as it strives to create the perfect sweater via the art of handmade. First off, we have a generously sized Boyfriend Cardigan with patch pockets and unexpected detailed seaming along the button placket and center back. My absolute favorite sweater of the season is the SOH cable cardigan. A cashmere, silk blend in the most beautiful open knit, showcases the artisan’s talent while enveloping the wearer in cloud like softness perfect for Sunday morning dog walks.

I brought Harris Wharf into Kilgore Trout many years ago. I fell in love with their timeless styles and quality fabrications. Since my daughter now lives in Sweden , I am even more interested in comfortable, modern and elegant clothing. This season, I am loving the navy drop shoulder bouclé long coat. Navy is the new black for me and I wanted something to quickly throw on and feel very European hip!

In 2021, Trish Wescoat Pound launched TWP, a fashion label that quickly became known for its impeccable blend of style, craftsmanship, and functionality. With a clear vision to create the perfect wardrobe staples, TWP embodies a mix of tailored sophistication and modern versatility, appealing to women who seek an effortless, yet polished, look.
ease and downtown sensibility.
TWP’s collections reflect Wescoat Pound’s deep understanding of what women want in their everyday wardrobes—pieces that balance comfort with elegance. Each collection is meticulously crafted with attention to detail, from tailoring to fabric selection. This dedication to quality is evident in TWP’s commitment to using luxurious fabrics sourced from the finest mills in Italy, and its decision to keep production local, with each garment made in New York City. The result is a line of clothing that exudes luxury and craftsmanship, but with an approachable, downtown sensibility that appeals to stylish, modern women.
“Packing for trips informs my design choices: What are my must haves? What am I missing? I design for what I want and need in my life.”
Central to TWP’s ethos is the concept of the capsule wardrobe, a philosophy that has earned Wescoat Pound a loyal following. With key pieces like tailored slacks, silk slip dresses, and cozy cashmere sweaters, TWP offers versatile items that women can effortlessly mix and match, creating multiple looks with minimal pieces. This approach not only speaks to the modern woman’s desire for simplicity and sustainability but also reflects Wescoat Pound’s own lifestyle. “Packing for trips informs my design choices,” she notes. “What are my must-haves? What am I missing? I design for what I want and need in my life.” This personal, travel-inspired approach to design allows TWP to create clothes that resonate with women seeking both practicality and style.
The brand’s popularity has surged, particularly among the fashion-forward women of New York City, where TWP’s pieces often sell out quickly on luxury platforms. Wescoat Pound’s keen eye for detail, paired with her ability to anticipate what women need in their closets, has turned TWP into a cult favorite in the fashion world. This year, TWP made its debut on the official New York Fashion Week calendar, marking a significant milestone for the brand and further solidifying its place in the industry.
As TWP continues to grow, Trish Wescoat Pound remains dedicated to her vision of creating a wardrobe that is as luxurious as it is functional, embodying the kind of easy elegance that defines modern fashion. With her thoughtful designs and commitment to quality, she has carved out a unique space in the world of women’s fashion—one that embraces both timeless sophistication and everyday wearability.
