We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to be based in our Head Office, located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. This is an important, hands-on position within a family-run hospitality business. The payroll administrator position will join our current payroll admin.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Assist & process weekly payroll for employees

Process hours worked from our employee time/attendance system (Timepoint) & SAGE

Micropay – to include adding new employees

Experience with "Management Time & Attendance Software" would be beneficial but Training sessions with 'Timepoint' will be provided

Assist with managing employee payroll related queries in a timely manner

Liaise with colleagues re: new starts, transfers, terminations, pay grade changes & any other associated tasks.

Complete payroll audits as they arise

Provide support & backup to office department when required

Any Ad-hoc duties as they arise

Qualifications/Experience:

IPASS (or equivalent) qualification and minimum 12+mths experience

Experience with Sage Micropay & Timepoint (time & attendance software) ideal but not essential as training can be provided

Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel

Excellent oral and written communication skills & strong people skills

Ability to consistently provide a high-quality service to employees

A continuous improvement mind-set

High focus on accuracy and diligence

Confidentiality within the role is mandatory

Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask

Ability to cover payroll duties, when our current payroll admin is on annual leave. Whereby our head office admin will then support where necessary

Who passed away on 19th February 2022. As we lovingly remember our Beautiful Brother Jimmy on his first Anniversary, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of the wonderful people who touched Jimmy s life.

Heartfelt thanks to the management and the caring staff of Killarney Nursing Home, who enabled Jimmy to live his last few years in comfort and safety while all of his medical and personal needs were taken care of. Also, to the staff of Deenagh Medical Practice, to the Emergency First Responders team, to the ambulance crew. Thanks to the hard pressed staff of the emergency department of Kerry University Hospital.

Most sincere appreciation to the stroke team under the steerage of the compassionate Mr Barry Moynihan, also to the Paliative Care team to whom we will be forever grateful for their kindness and compassion and of course staff at all levels in Rathass Ward.

May God Bless you all in your work.

Grateful appreciation to the neighbours, family, extended family of each and every one of us for their support and kindness also for all of the thoughtful personal messages hand written and on RIP along with the abundance of mass cards received.

Thanks to all who were present at the removal and at the Funeral Mass as well as those who joined us online. Thank you to Fr. Jim Lenihan for the beautiful Mass, and Fr Tom Looney for your participation, to the wonderful Ann Cotter for her very moving musical performance.
