Created by Head Chef Cyrille Durand, a delicious Valentine’s five course menu will be available for diners on Friday, February 14 and served through to Sunday February. terrine, Kayne’s house salad, cauliflower veloute and tartine of St Tola goats cheese. Some of the main courses include jambonette of Irish chicken, Skeghanore duck magret, seared fillet of Atlantic cod, along with grilled 12oz rib eye of Irish beef. The Parkavon Hotel
New name and look for the Holiday Inn The Holiday Inn on Muckross Road has rebranded as The Parkavon Hotel Killarney. Built in 1998, Holiday Inn operated under the IHG umbrella for 21 years and was the only branded hotel in Killarney. Dublin based design team CI Studio managed the rebrand. The team came across Parkavonear Castle, the 13th-century Anglo-Norman ruin in Aghadoe overlooking the Lakes of Killarney. The name was shortened to Parkavon – thus The Parkavon Hotel.
