Welcome to Kilmorack Someone once told me that ‘beauty remains.’ In its colour and form lie a deep aesthetic that can melt hearts and make better people. Hopefully, the images gathered together in this book illustrate this. Take another look at the faces, landscapes and abstractions in the photographs; and at what lies beneath them. We still use the spectacular old church (1786) as our base and welcome visitors into its unique gothic-revival interior (from 1835.) Exhibitions evolve constantly and new work arrives most weeks, so we keep a very up-to-date website which has far more information and artists on it than this book includes. You can also sign up to our mailing list from here and contact us with any queries.

Soon Kilmorack Gallery exhibited painters and sculptors from all around Scotland and sold them far further. It has
