The Graduate Program Overview Our graduate program delivers a constant supply of technically qualified fresh graduates, with a winning attitude and high leadership potential from renowned universities across East Africa. The program is one of the key interventions of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) aimed at supporting business growth. This is a two year program. Through a series of structured training & development initiatives and rotational placements over a period of one year, the program strengthens Centum’s talent pool and allows timely & best fit deployment of talent into Centum and in investee companies across the region in the second year of the program. We target to absorb at least 10 candidates annually and deploy additional strong candidates to our investee companies. Centum retains leadership development oversight of the participants through assignment of internal mentors and coaches.

Fresh graduate or final year undergraduate 25 years of age and below Min A level score of AMin 2nd Upper undergraduate score Engineering, Economics, Law, Actuarial Science, IT or Business related study • Ongoing or completed financial professional qualifications.

Graduate Program How it works

Phase One

• Focuses on understanding self and Centum. • Participants will be taken through rotational placements across the organisation and will be assigned specific developmental projects • Each participant will be assigned a mentor and will be coached by members of the respective teams • Performance management will be key during the rotational placements • At the close of the rotational program and based on the performance; placement will be made into the respective departments/entities of choice.

Phase Two

• In the second phase will take one year. Participants will take skills and experience acquired into full-time careers within the functional areas of their choice • They will embark on a series of challenging business assignments and will contribute to organizational objectives as Analysts.
