ROISIN ALLUM

COLLECTION:

+44(0)7514338346

The main themes addressed in my final major project collection are androgyny, relaxed deconstructed tailoring and contemporary floral digital print.

roisin.maria@hotmail.co.uk

The fabric direction is mainly coated cottons and linens and also transparent fabrics. Focussing on the detail and incorporating these elements creates a modern relaxed tailored collection.

ALYSIA BAKER

GEOMETRIC PUZZLE

www.alysiamichelle.com

Designs were developed by playing with the juxtaposition of draped forms with structured angular pieces.

alysiamichelle@hotmail.co.uk

The impact of the black and white collection will add emphasis and focus on bold silhouettes, distinguishing structured garments that hold a moulaged twist.

+44 (0) 7983709053

‘Geometric Puzzle’ is inspired by form, line and structure taken from geometric shapes to create the Womenswear collection SS13.

SAM BOND

COLLECTION:

Samuel.bond@hotmail.

The inspiration from the collection comes from the movement and form of muscle groups in the body, a key focus on the development of sportswear.

+44 (0)7875581244

The Collection aims to create a new perspective of designer sportswear for men. The developed approach conquers interesting shapes and features found in both sportswear and tailoring all whilst holding onto a subtly graphic nature, supported by the simplicity of colour.

JO BOWDEN

ARCHITEKT

joannebowden@hotmail.co.uk

Combining this with street style observation, urban Britain is represented in a vibrant and gritty colour palette. Clashing architectural prints and carefully constructed panelling and silhouettes.

+44 (0) 7977868620

This collection draws inspiration from British urban landscape, specifically the raw, irregular layering of architectural periods within cities. Also focussing into the smaller overlooked details such as connecting bridges, lampposts and graffiti.

AMELIA BRAXTON

COLLECTION: The final collection takes inspiration from antiquities of the regency period, and the decorations of the Venetian churches. Focusing on the wealth and detail in design, contrasted with simplistic moral integrity and natural processes of light and decay that the church embodies.

LAUREN CARANDE

ELECTROSTATIC

l.carande@hotmail.co.uk

This A/W 13/14 Ready-to-Wear womenswear collection is a contemporary and environmentally responsible range.

+44 (0)7724292937

Electrostatic fuses the organic shapes of artichokes with the colour of electricity on a minimalist silhouette. The mix of subtle organic shapes with the straight lines of the seams, elicits a tailored feel.

BECKY CONNOLLY

COLLECTION: The collection looks into ethereal subjects and focuses on nature and natural architecture. It encompasses complimentary colours and includes embellishment and clean designs.

JILLY CORNTHWAITE

COLLECTION:

+44 (0)7577447433

Taking inspiration from natural form and organic architecture, the collection is made from a variety of sustainable materials.

jillycornthwaite@hotmail.com

‘Flat packed Fashion’ allows the consumer to create their own look by choosing from a selection of garment components all of which are interchangeable; creating a durable, timeless collection.

VANESSA GATE

COLLECTION:

Vanessa.gate1@gmail.com

Also inspired by the adorned Alhambra palace in Granada my collection is a contemporary take on my perception of beauty and elegance.

+44 (0)7845643980

A threshold question is what exactly do we mean by “attractive? This is the main focus of my collection; experimenting with following and braking the rule of symmetry through pattern cutting becomes a personal reaction to this question.

DANI GOODWIN

COLLECTION:

star2810@hotmail.co.uk

This has challenged me throughout my project due to having to use french seams and hand stitching every bead separately.

+44 (0)7845395234

I am interested in detailed embellishment and hand beading, I also love to experiment with transparent fabric and trims such as chiffon, net and lace.

BEN GOODYEAR

COLLECTION:

+44 (0)7817491719

Incorporating soft-tailoring whilst playing around with the structure to create up to date, stylish affordable clothing.

benjamin.goodyear@hotmail.co.uk

Menswear designer inspired by the quirkiness and British style of Paul Smith, designed with modern twists on a more traditional silhouette using contrasting stitching and intricate details.

SOPHIE GRAY

COLLECTION:

sophiegray@mail.com

The collection considers classic tailoring techniques whilst exploring the oddity of Henri Michaux’s poetry to create juxtaposition through colour and design.

+44 (0)7920523397

I Paint To Decondition Myself Ready-To-Wear Womenswear for Autumn/ Winter 13/14. Using initial research inspired by mens tailoring, particularly ‘The Gentlemen of Bacongo’;

NICHOLA HARDING

ALVICTO WOMENSWEAR A/W12/13

nicholaalexandra@hotmail.co.uk

Garments take on a sustainable theme through multifunctional and interchangeable fashion, a garment for life, not just for today.

+44(0)7792495865

An inspired new luxury takes nature’s natural beauties and combines the influence of modern architecture, line and structure to engage in a hedonistic behaviour, to form the collection.

www.nicholaalexandra.com

JENNIFER HARDING

jenelizabeth.co.uk

Inspired by the cities of Florence, Pisa, Paris, and Vinci town; balanced with masterful elegance and femininity. Minimalism equals beauty.

+44 (0)7773013476

TUTTO BIANCO FOR S/S 2013 Protest against the mainstream hype with a neutral and transparent expression of individualism. Taking the structure and significant line detail from modern architecture and fusing this with intricate lace trims and appliquÊd finishing’s.

SAMANTHA HAYTHORNE

COLLECTION: A strong interest in tailoring and pattern-cutting, especially for women’s-wear, is clearly represented throughout the collection.

samanthahaythorne@hotmail.com

This work focuses on blurring the lines of gender and the everchanging seasons with androgynous styles and contemporary methods of applying texture and manipulating fabric.

SARAH HAYWARD

BROKEN DOLL The collection consists of feminine silhouettes, quirky fabrics (such as an Alice in wonderland print sourced from Japan) and careful attention to detail, from lace zips to handcrafted buttons.

+44 (0)1226380708

Black Candy alternative fashion is influenced by a combination of Japanese street style and Victorian dress with a gothic palette; together creating a “Broken Doll concept. These exclusive designs are aimed at a boutique level of the alternative/ gothic market.

NICOLE HIGSON

nicolehigson@hotmail.com

It raises contemporary issues via fashion’s innovative manner; offering luxe Womenswear intended for the harsh, intimidating urban environment.

+44 (0)7745583505

HARD NUT TO CONKER Stemmed from the London riots 2011. The ‘conker’ represents the impersonation of poverty by middle-class looters; a protective, threatening shell conceals the ‘wealth’ inside.

ROSE HOLOHAN

roseholohan@googlemail.com

Using traditional tailoring techniques the garments conform to a modular clothing system that means the whole range is interchangeable and adaptable.

+44 (0)7875196839

R BY HOLOHAN : ONE, AUTUMN/ WINTER 2013/14. The collection focuses on garment function and the emotional and physical need for clothing to act as protection and shelter for the body.
