JUNE 2012
Excellence in ART since 1963.
DEAR FRIENDS, As we go to press with our newsletter, our artists have been busy in the studio preparing new works for the start of the busy art season at our Jackson Hole, Wyoming gallery. We kick things off in June with High Country Summer, a show that is rich in diversity and subject matter. Whether you love impressionism, landscapes, wildlife, figurative work or traditional western art, this show has it all! In June we will also highlight a new collection of paintings by Idaho painter Robert Moore, always a favorite among collectors! In July we host our second annual Masters in Miniature Show Invitational. No matter how full your walls are, you can always find a spot for that small gem of a painting or a niche for that charming little sculpture! We anticipate having 250-300 small works for the show which will be sold by draw during the artist’s reception on July 19. August brings the debut of a new show at Trailside titled It’s A Dog’s Life. As the name implies, the show is comprised of paintings and sculpture featuring our canine friends; mutt, mongrel or pure breed, with a portion of the sales donated to the local animal shelter. A special showcase of paintings by Joseph Sulkowski, regarded as one of the world’s premier canine and sporting artists, will be an added bonus during our dog show! Additionally, the gallery will be featuring a wonderful selection of unique, beautifully handcrafted western furniture by artisans John Gallis, Brad Greenwood, Ron Shanor and Mike Roths. continued on page 2...
