Excellence in ART since 1963.
DEAR FRIENDS, As we go to Press with our Fall newsletter, it is wonderful to welcome in the cooler temperatures and beautiful colors of the autumnal season. This is the time of year when I yearn to load my SUV with my four footed furry friends and drive to the mountains to find a little cabin in the woods away from phones, computers and anything else that rings, dings or buzzes! Relax is my word du jour, but unfortunately, I do not see that happening any time soon given the busy end of year show schedule still ahead! The season in Jackson was a busy one as usual with a variety of great shows and exhibitions at the gallery. In September, we hosted our sixth annual Jackson Hole Art Auction which brought many collectors in to town and resulted in sales approaching 8 million dollars. I would like to take a moment to send out a big thank you to all our clients and patrons who made it a point to drop by our Jackson gallery during the course of the summer and/or attend our auction. I love having the chance to catch up with long time clients and to have the opportunity to meet new collectors who have just discovered our gallery for the first time. Also, a big thank you to our many wonderful artists who dropped in throughout the summer to visit and drop off new artwork! While we have hardly had a chance to catch our breath, November kicks off our Fall Classics show in Scottsdale which features all new work from our entire roster of artists. We also have a special showcase of new work from award wining artist Z.S. Liang. The busy weekend show schedule begins Thursday, November 8 with the Western Art Walk and culminates on Saturday with our annual Open House from 1:00 – 4:00pm. An exciting new event taking place this year in the Scottsdale Arts District is the first annual Quick Draw in which several of our artists are participating. For more information, please see page 7 of this newsletter. I hope you can join us in Scottsdale Nov 8- 10 for what promises to be a spectacular weekend of fine art and great Arizona weather! Warm Regards, Maryvonne Leshe, Managing Partner Z.S. Liang, Pride Of The Lakota, 1830, 48 x 28, Oil, $ $33,500

Trailside Galleries is very pleased to now represent painter Albin Veselka. Born in 1979, Albin’s interest in art came at an early age and was highly encouraged by his parents. In 2006 Albin received his BFA from Brigham Young University Idaho. He credits the knowledgeable and student oriented faculty of the BYUI art department for giving him “the tools all representational artists must have to open the door to communicating in the visual arts.” He also received guidance that helped him break into the gallery scene while he was still a college student. Significant artistic influences include Nicolai Fechin, John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmid and several other contemporary painters. Albin has already received much critical acclaim via his participation in numerous national shows as well as magazine and media coverage. In 2011 he won the Gold Medal at the Oil Painters of America Western Regional Show. Violin Lesson, Oil, 48 x 24, $6,500
