Excellence in ART since 1963.

DEAR FRIENDS, Having just wrapped up a very busy summer season at our Jackson, Wyoming gallery, we start things all over again in Scottsdale with our annual Fall Classics exhibition and sale in November. This show is one of our signature events, with a diverse offering of new works from all our gallery artists. Additionally, we are also pleased to have a new selection of rich and compelling paintings by award wining artist Z.S. Liang who so eloquently depicts Native American culture and tradition. Several months ago, I was approached by Fresco Fine Art Publications of Albuquerque, New Mexico regarding their recent publication of a largeformat book titled Art of the National Parks. In the book, seventy painters and sculptors offer distinctive views of eight of our nation’s most beloved national parks, including the Grand Canyon. Thus it is that we are pleased to host a special show featuring the 12 artists in the book who have played a significant role in interpreting the iconic landscapes of Grand Canyon National Park. Please note that our newsletter offers only a sampling of the new works available in our Fall Classics and Grand Canyon show. Please visit our website where you can view all the works featured in these events.

The Jackson Hole Art Auction, held on Saturday, September 14 had very strong results, selling over 85% of the lots and totaling $8.39 million in sales. We are already preparing for next year’s sale, and I encourage you to mark your calendar for the eighth annual Jackson Hole Art Auction, scheduled for September 13, 2014. On a closing note, I would like to point out the wonderful photograph on the back of the newsletter. This was taken during our dinner party for all the attending artists following our 50th Anniversary Gala show on August 23. Believe me when I say, it wasn’t easy rounding up all these artists and getting them to sit still for the photo shoot! If your travel plans include a visit to the Scottsdale area this winter or next spring, please drop by for a visit. We look forward to having you in the gallery! Warm Regards, Maryvonne Leshe, Managing Partner Curt Walters, A Temple Seraphic, 36 x 36 inches, Oil, $35,000
