WEST COAST USA road trip 2015
California Dreamin’ An American girl takes her Turkish boy on a west coast road trip of her homeland. Their journey begins with family in the high desert landscape of Reno, Virginia City & Lake Tahoe. Moving southwards, they all drive over the mountains & down into the majestic, carved out granite valley of Yosemite - camping & hiking in the sun & rain. Then the two of them hop into a red mustang convertible & hit the road. First stop, the concrete jungle of Los Angeles shown to them by their friend Mackenzie. Next, heading north up the wild, winding, coastal Hwy 1 they take in stunning view after stunning view of the Pacific. Ending their drive in San Francisco they catch up with old friends, Molly & Nathan, Louise & Jimmy. Taco eating in the Mission, burgers in Berkley, a visit to Stanford, a day walking in Sonoma redwoods & craft beer drinking in Oakland ensues. It was a travel full of good people & beautiful landscapes. He can still be heard whistling the the tune ‘California Dreamin’… kim & eren 2015
