WEST AFRICA 2013/14
Africa ‘Wilderness gave us knowledge. Wilderness made us human. We came from here. Perhaps that is why so many of us feel a strong bond to this land called Serengeti; it is the land of our youth.’ - Boyd Norton I can still hear the singing of the birds on Lake Bunyonyi - high pitched staccato chirps mixed with long and low guttural sounds to create an on-going sing-song. I can still feel the vastness of the great Serengeti plains: driving through herds of zebras and wildebeest during the great migration, elephants and giraffes marking the landscape, lion packs sleeping in the shade of a tree. I can still see the turquoise blues of the sea fading in and out over the pure white coral sands in Zanzibar. kim & eren 2013/14
