CODA Mom returned to Texas in July of 2019 with the help of her good friends, Rex Ageton, Cheryl DeWitt, Mary Jones, Tony Bishop, Juan Carpio, and others, who recognized that she it was time for her to come home. She returned with Princess, the little street-dog. She’d forgotten many things, but her sense of humor remained right up to the very end, and we, her family, were given the gift of a few months to reconnect with her before she passed away peacefully on December 7, 2019. —KD
