Making the Transition

You've observed the signs, and it's time for the next big step. But how exactly do you transition from the high chair to the booster seat?

Test Drive

Don't dive right in - give it a trial run first. Allow them to sit on the booster seat during snack time or during a nonmealtime activity, such as a fun crafting session. This helps your little one get accustomed to the new seating arrangement, without the mealtime rush adding extra pressure.

Patience is Key

Transitioning to a booster seat is a big step in your child's life. Don't be surprised if there's a little resistance at first, or even a minor regression in behavior. That's perfectly okay! Adjusting to such a big change might take some time, so shower them with love and patience.

Safety First

Excitement aside, safety should never be compromised. Ensure that your child is securely strapped into their booster seat and that the chair itself is stable and can't tip over. Safety straps and a well-built design are key when selecting the right booster seat.
