Serendipity: A Chronicle of a Navy Photojournalist Harry Gerwien Thursday, April 22 • 6:00 p.m.
Experience military life and forty years of travel as seen through the eyes of Harry Gerwien, a former Navy photojournalist and Military Newspapers of Virginia photographer. A portion of the proceeds of the book sales will be donated to the Navy Special Warfare Foundation that provides scholarships for the children of fallen Navy SEALs.

The Foundation exists to support the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, one of only twelve official U.S. Navy Museums in the country. Behind the Scene Tours Join the Hampton Roads Naval Historical Foundation for two guided tours offered in the spring and fall for members only. On March 26th we will travel and visit the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C. The following day will be tours of Washington, D.C. monuments.
