Welcome!

The very first book I read on my own was titled “The Runaway Bunny.” My mom said it was prophetic.

I have always run away to distant lands to explore, learn, grow, and meet new friends. And then I’ve always come home again to comfort and familiarity of the people and places I love.

And then, while back at home, I continued to dream of those far off places through my paints.

Now I invite others to join me and live out their wanderlust through vibrant, mixed media travelinspired designs that celebrate the spirit of the people and places who have welcomed and changed us, and made us feel at home.

About Kim

A client recently called Kim a Renaissance Woman. And that was a compliment that made her feel truly seen.

She lived in Germany and taught English, then raised her now grown daughters in Indiana while teaching middle school German and Broadcast Journalism. She then earned her MFA in Visual Communication Design with Emphasis in Design Thinking and Design Leadership, focusing on human-centered design within the healthcare and non-profit industries.

During the pandemic, she realized her lifelong dream of moving to the Sonoran Desert to become an artist and began her art and design business after a short stint as a dual credit Graphic Design and Business teacher.

When she’s not pitching a tent at Arizona art festivals, designing new wallpapers and travel posters, designing book covers and product packaging, or collaborating with the Children’s Museum of Phoenix as a Design Strategist, she’s globetrotting and spending time with family and friends in Morocco, Spain, France, and Germany. Or, when the heat sets in, you can find her swimming in Sedona’s Oak Creek.

Kim’s designs have found homes globally in Germany, Spain, Poland, Canada, and the UK, as well as all across the United States. Her travel posters are in galleries and shops in San Diego, Phoenix, and Indianapolis. Through her collaboration with Walls Need Love, a Nashville based wallapper company, her work has been featured in New York Magazine’s The Strategist and she has been a guest on the Love Your Space podcast.

Kim hopes her designs encourage others to connect with the beauty that surrounds us all in nature and in each other.
