“There is no space without event.” Bernard Tschumi
ABSTRACT My folio explores user performativity and experience through the mapping of both human and nonhuman movement and infrastructure. Reflecting on a quote by Bernard Tschumi, ‘There is no space without event.’ There are four methods, have followed interaction, transition, participation, narrative of both site and body, to create space and event. The method of interaction and transition explore in the projects of ‘No Ending Pavilion’ and ‘Populism’ while the method of participation and narrative also explore in the projects of “Food Net” and ‘Green Island’.

Project
concept statement: The Tsundoku Project concept is inspired by one of the Seven Seeds cafe, Hortus x Seven Seeds and the another cafe called St Edmonds. This project conveys a feeling of being in a space that actually feels like it is natural and part of nature using greens, plants and natural wood colors. The selection of stark white paint as wall gives an airy and open feeling. The smooth finishing and natural materials has been adopted in this new cafĂŠ, it aids to provide a warm, relax, comfort and soothing atmosphere for students and university staffs.
