The topic exploration started from writing lists of ten things I liked. Ten things I don't like, ten problems that I would like to see solved, ten problems that I don't think will be soved, and ten problems that could be better if communication were more clear. ten exploration helped me to develop five potential topics to investigate.

TOPIC SELECTION
I choose my five topics from 10 things I like and then things I don't like. The five topics are... 1. Cultural shock 2. Food health 3. Sleep is very important for health 4. Energy problem 5. Type too much make us lost our writing ability
I choose topic No.4 as my topic. Enegry problem is the most important problem for human today. Almost every machines and devices need energy to run. Most of energy we use today are cost pollution, and those energy cost losts of mony. I think to use the clean and inexpensive energy is our main topic today.

CONTCEPT EXPLORATION
In this stage, I made three brain stroming wall to find a concept behind the idea. I created a brain storming wall using two pairs of opposites words in order to explore my idea with greater specificity. This stage helped me to get concrete concept that I could further explore for the semester. The two opposing word pairs I choose for my topic were save vs wasted, high cost vs low cost. First I started by writing down any words that came to mind associated with my topic my topic to explore. An then, I had time to arrange them again to organize. at the end of the brainstorming process. I was able to come up with those final ideas.

In this part, I'm looking for my brand's competitors. After research, I found out most of environmental organizations are care a group of people more than care one person or one family. That makes them more like an organization care about propaganda and the relationship between public and environment.
The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable societies. EESI believes meeting this goal requires transitions to social and economic patterns that sustain people, the environment and the natural resources upon which present and future generations depend.EESI advances innovative policy solutions that set us on a cleaner, more secure and sustainable energy path.
The ENERG is different with those environmental organiz ations. ENERG use save money by encourage people to use low-power cost electrical appliances and clean energy to instead of save environment as the central idea. This idea can lets everyone to use ENERG. Because people more care about themselves and things happen around them in a short time.

Background Today 86% of electricity made by burning coal, oil, natural gas, and it makes really serious pollution. People know that but because most of people only care about things happen around them or in short time, something like pollution always easy be ignored. ENERG educates people how to choose appliances and solar power equipment to help people to save money on electricity use, to create the bridge between people and save environment.
Strengts ENERG is a tutor for people to create a better environment and a green liveing style by use " save money on electricity" as entr y point to encourage people choose low-power appliances and solar power to save environment.

Educate people to use solar power is hard. Because if people want to use solar power they need to buy solar equipment, but buy those equipment need money. We need a period of time to educate people to understand that use solar power is worth.
The ton of EnerG should be simple and use geometric shapes. Because I want people to think reduce their use of electricity, and let them to use solar power is not complicated thing.
I choose web as this project's deliverable. ENERG can educate people by provide information about solar power on web. ENERG also has survey online. Through the survey on web we can help people to choose their special solar equipment .

I choose app as this project's deliverable because I want to create a scan functions for people who use my app. They can scan the barcodes on the electronic products, to know how much electricity that electronic product will cost. Also app can connect with other delicerables to work on other functions.
I choose smart power strip as this project's deliverable. The smart power strip can easily to let user know how much electricity does a specific electric equipment cost by charge on it. Also user can set electricity amount alarm to notice them if they are overusing the electricity.
Threats Some of the low - prower appliances may have big differences with high - power appliances. This situation may make user lose confidence about brand.

Smart power strip is my third deliverable. I created t wo function for ENERG audience. The smart power strip can easily to let user know how much electricity does a specific electric equipment cost by charge on it. Also user can set electricity amount alarm to notice them if they are overusing the electricity.
1. The amount detector This is very convenient amount detector, user just plug the charge into smart strip no matter if the equipment is smart device or not. The 12 inch screen on the smart power strip will show user how much electriecty each equipment cost, and it also shows the operating state of each equipment to user.
2. Amount alarm The Amount alarm on this power srtip can be managed buy user very easy. User can set alarm to notice themselves if they or any appliance is overuseing electricity. Though this function can easily help user to create a great electricity saving habit.
