GOD’S GRACE PLAN {God is love}
1 Corinthians Introduction The book of Genesis, in Hebrew means rê’shı ̂yth- the first in place, time, order and rank. H7225 (Gen 1:1) Original audience Those who came out of Egypt after 430 years of bondage. These words were very valuable to Israel because all hope seemed lost but God would cause a rod to grow from the seed of Jesse and save all people groups. Surrounding Context Eve disobeyed God’s instruction to Adam. The conversation with the serpent lets us now that Eve knew that it was sin so Adam must have relayed this message to her. After she sins her husband Adam, sins as well. They are then separated from God and God tells them of their consequences. Even though they sinned, God had a plan to redeem fallen mankind. God tells them that there will be enmity which is eybah- hostily or hatred, between people and the enemy used to trick her. As the enemy rules in the hearts and minds of people the seed of sin continues to dwell in them and there is constant hostility between light and darkness. For centuries darkness has been trying to put out the light but the great LIGHT, Jesus, came into the world to expose darkness. John 3:19
How does this text apply to us today? In this verse we see God’s mercy plan. We racked up the bill but God paid the check. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness... Sin seemed like it would ever reign in our mortal members but because of the blood of the innocent God-man Jesus, we can have relationship and fellowship with God. When we rejected Calvary and didn’t want anything to do with God, He still loved us. 1 John 4:10 ...he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Our hearts should be in a continual state of thankfulness because God loves us so much. This love should flow out to others around us. The people of God should not be mean, bitter, sour faced looking people. We don’t smile because life is easy and we don’t have bi-polar moments but because our salvation is secure.

Sacrificial Praise Living Above the Circumstances and Under the Blood
Donna Renay Patrick Do you know someone who appears to always “have it all together”? Very often those very words are spoken of us who are actively involved in ministry – whether it be preaching, pastoring, music ministry, finance ministry, or what have you. It is thought sometimes that we have no problems, we’ve always had enough money, or that we never experience attacks from the enemy. There are times, whether we intend it so or not, that it appears our whole lives are wrapped securely in ministry and that we are somehow insulated from the difficult days that life
will inevitably introduce to us. Jesus told us in John 16:33 that we would have tribulation in this life. However, He didn’t just stop there; He said, “But take courage; I have overcome the world.” In Psalm 34:19 we see God as a Deliverer from our many afflictions. (Also see 2 Timothy 3:12). In our study of scripture we have a tendency to read a passage too fast, thereby missing some very important nuggets. For example, both of these passages contain the conjunction, “but.” And whenever you see the word “but” or other similar connectors, it just means that what was before the “but” no longer exists after the “but.” I want to encourage somebody who is going through a difficult time. Your difficulty could encompass any one of a myriad of issues; God knows. When we go through rough times, in our human condition we may find it hard to have an attitude of praise and gratitude, let alone express it by raising our hands, or singing. I’ve been there. When I could see my trouble more clearly than I could see God, I knew it was time to go to war with the enemy. I fought the enemy lying on my face in worship. I fought him with sacrificial praise. I sang when I didn’t feel like singing. I lifted my hands when, in the natural, I had every reason NOT to. It wasn’t easy, but I knew what God required of me as a blood-bought believer in Jesus Christ. I knew I was a royal priesthood, a holy nation, chosen to work for Him (1 Peter 2:9). There were times I felt I was literally losing my mind, but I was at war to get my peace back! While our enemy, the devil, is neither omnipresent nor
omniscient, he sees your struggle, and will do everything possible to capitalize on it. Spiritual warfare is real, but you have spiritual weaponry in singing God’s praises, continuing to walk in the Holy Ghost, and fortifying your spirit with His Word. When we’re going through a tough time, it is no easy thing to offer praises to God. We are natural beings; we have feelings, thought patterns, and a will. Because of the blood of Jesus we no longer, however, have to be ruled by our natural man. Hebrews 10:17-22 teaches us that because of the blood and body sacrifice of Jesus, He remembers our sins no more; therefore we have a high priest over the house of God, allowing us to draw near to Him with a true heart in full assurance of faith. Second Corinthians 5:17 speaks to us about our new-creature relationship through Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus, we have a measure of faith, and He showers His grace on all of us. We can bring our cares to Him in an atmosphere of praise and/or worship. Both Exodus 19:6 and I Peter 2:5 remind us that God has made us priests unto Himself. Our priesthood through salvation by Jesus Christ affords us rights and privileges. One of those rights is to praise God at ANY time, and one of those privileges is to BOLDLY come before His throne and get help whenever we need it. Entering into sacrificial praise to God is a faith venture. When we praise God in our troubled times we are telling God, by faith, that we know He is STILL God, and we acknowledge Him as Lord over the situation at hand.

Just as the Old Testament sacrifice of animals called for death, so it is true in the New Testament realm of sacrifice; death to our comforts, to our egos, and our desires; death to constant focus on our problems. Trouble comes to all of us; no one is exempt (Ecclesiastes 9:11). Whether you hold a position of leadership in your church or not, think it not strange when you encounter problems in your life. Jesus has promised us victory, and He always causes us to triumph in Him. Consider Psalm 66:12: “. . . we went through fire and through water, yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.” So go ahead and praise God for what you already know—that you are blessed and delivered according to the Word of God. In Deuteronomy 28:13 God extends a wonderful promise to those who obey Him: “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will
be above, and you will not be underneath, . . .”. Fall on your face in worship because you serve a God who is worthy of all the honor you could possibly bestow on Him. Submit yourself to Christ’s Lordship over your life and your circumstances, and allow Him to fill your heart with high praise. My prayer for all who read this article is that you determine in your spirit every day to live above your circumstances, and under the Blood. Praise God under the Blood and worship Him under the Blood. Place your entire life – including your needs, wants, goals, dreams, and deepest heart’s desires under the Blood of Jesus. Release it all to Him, and watch Him make more of your life than you could without His divine help.

LISTENING August 2017
Ecclesiastes 3:7 – A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak. Last month I explained how to use a talk table to get things out in the open when marital issues come up that must be faced head on. This month I want to remind myself as well our readers when to be silent. I had a friend comment to me that when she and her husband double date with us, she feels that my husband disrespects me in conversation. I had no idea what she meant until she gave specific examples of comments he would interject when I was telling a story or relating a goal or dream. Comments like “Oh, right! And I’m going to win the lottery” or “Like that will ever happen” were quotes that I must have learned to ignore when the floor was all mine. I spoke to my husband privately about this matter and hope that he took what I said to heart, but honestly, it made me wonder if I too interrupt, interject and ignore the feelings of others when they are speaking. Learning to listen more than I speak is a skill and an art that I am still struggling with. I love the fact that God gave us two ears but only one mouth. I guess I should learn to use them accordingly. When Jesus was talking to the crowd about John the Baptist, in Matthew 11:15, he says He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Also in Proverbs 1:5 we are instructed to Let the wise hear and increase
HEALTHY MARRIAGE
in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance. Do I listen before I speak or while someone is talking am I already thinking of my retort? When someone is relating a story am I thinking of a similar story to one-up the one being told? Not listening to your husband or others is not indicative of a hearing problem. It is more likely symptomatic of a heart problem. What makes my story or life experience more important? Nothing! When I dismiss the rare times my husband opens up to me, I am disregarding his desire to share. I am not loving him in a way that will allow him to open up more to me in the future if I am more concerned with my answer or solution than really just allowing him to confide. This made me think about the book of Luke where Jesus is talking about the light on a stand. We are to put our light on a stand so it can be seen. We are not to hide it under a bed where it cannot be seen. You see, we want to illuminate light, even if it exposes the sin. In this case, sin can be considered the vanity of wanting my opinion heard more than allowing others to speak.
Who says that New Years Day is the only day we can make resolutions? From this day forward, I resolve to listen more than I speak. To hear what people have to say. To stop jumping in and trying to fix the problem. To simply allow. Perhaps this will allow even God’s voice to be more clear to me. Proverbs 19:27 Cease to hear instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge
PROPHETESS
Kimberly M. Fleming Way Maker The past few days I’ve been listening to a song called Way Maker. The words say Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light In The Darkness, My God that is who You are! These words are simple yet profound. In seemingly hopeless situations we have to trust God even the more. He has already worked everything out on our behalf. The most successful stage productions, concerts, conferences are attributed not just to those who you can see but to those who are working hard behind the scenes. God is working hard behind the scenes for you! The problem is we can’t see Him working and our situation seems to get worse. We begin to lose hope, our faith wavers, and it feels as though we have been defeated. This is when God’s glorious Power is at
its best!! Isaiah 43:19 says} God will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. He will make a way where this is no way. He made a way for the Israelites to get across the Red Sea. He made a way to feed five thousand plus people with two fish and five loaves of bread. If you think about it long enough you can remember the time that God has made a way for you. So why worry now? If He did it before, He most definitely will do it again. So be encouraged my God is a Promise Keeper, every promise He’s ever made you He will bring it to pass. He will bring Light into your dark situations. He’s a Miracle Worker, working miracles on your behalf. He’s moving in our midst. He’s changing lives, healing broken hearts, making everything alright. And when you can’t see or feel your way out, remind yourself that God is a Way Maker! Be blessed đ&#x;’œ

Overflow Walking in the Favor of God
When you hear the word overflow, what emotions stir up in you? What immediately comes to your mind? Some may see a cup of water running over, others may see a large amount of money or possessions or a brilliant life full of joy. The bible has a lot to say about the Abundant life of Christ and we have understood that more than anything tangible you can hold in your hand or see with your eyes it is a thought or mindset that you choose to put on every day. Abundance or Overflow is our inheritance as Sons and Daughters of God. We do not work to get to God’s abundance, we already have it because we are in Christ. Our work is to abide or stay! John 15:4-5- “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” Psalms 31:19 says, “How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of men!” John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” Fullness, abundance, overflow in Christ must become a revelation to the believer. Belief and Faith is the way to the Abundant Life. Our Faith grows as we are stretched in challenges and problems that come to our lives. So how have we experienced Fullness of God, His overflow? Through abiding, resting, surrendering and yielding to God in our processes
Overflow Walking in the Favor of God
we understood that God has a good plan for us, He is interested in our companionship and pursues us, no matter what. Transparency of heart and intensions is the “push” through all the blockages in our mind and clears us for the flow of God’s love and voice to flush through our hearts. This opens our eyes to see the many blessings we already have leading us to rejoice in them. Worship and praise became more genuine, from a real
place of gratitude and love. This is Abundant Life. The World did not give it and the world cannot take it away. It is the fruit of being filled with the Holy Spirit. The fruit of being in Christ. This healthy mindset helps us to abide / stay in Christ knowing that we can ask Him for anything trusting in His favor. Rejoice. Give thanks. Trust. God’s grace is sufficient and we must get a revelation of that to live an abundant life. Even in the midst of trouble and chaos we can have an abundant mindset when we
Rejoice, Give thanks and Trust that God is in control and He gives us grace upon grace. Getting a revelation of the Joy of the Lord is important to living abundantly. Did you know that God is full of joy? His Character is that of Love, Joy, peace, gentleness, kindness and faithfulness. He delights in you! We need to delight in Him. When we live in this realm, we OVERFLOW to those around us. Overflow has a purpose and it’s not all about you. It’s so that we can spill over onto others. And as a
www.red4christministries.com
bonus, because you overflow unto others the favor of God and man will be the direct result! You can expect to be blessed. Suddenly, blessings flow, spiritual, emotional and even natural or physical needs will be met! So, open up your heart to the understanding, revelation and realization that if you have received Jesus, then you are in Him and abundant life is at your immediate access you just have to abide in it. Not sure how to abide in Christ? Here is a little list to get you started!
1. Recognize that you need Christ: He said, “I am the vine and you are the branches. A Benedictine Monk once said, “Abundance is not measured by what flows in but by what flows over.” 2. Repent of your sins and change your mind towards Jesus in faith. 3. Pray. 4. Read the Bible. 5. Give thanks and rejoice! 6. Know that God delights to satisfy his children in Jesus! 7. Ask God to give you the strength to keep His commands.

SAMACH MACHOWL Praise Dance Ministry
I
magine yourself standing on a beautiful prairie on a bright, sunny day. Colorful flowers are in bloom, the fragrance of a fresh rain, and a smooth, soft breeze blowing in your hair. You start leaping and dancing in that amazing place, so free and with your heart about to burst with unfailing love. Suddenly, the King of kings and Lord of lords takes your hand and says: “May I have this dance?” Well, that is what the praise dancers in Samach Machowl Praise Dance Ministry, from R.E.D. 4 Christ, experience every time we minister. Our name means: “rejoice in the dance”. It comes from the verse, Jeremiah 31:13, which says, “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, And the young men and the old, together; For I will turn their mourning to joy, Will comfort them, And make them rejoice rather than sorrow.” Samach Machowl begins with the calling of the Holy Spirit, to seek
hungrily the presence of the Lord, and to use the gift of dance given by Him. We know that it is NOT our movements that attract the presence of the Lord, but it is our hearts and worship that move the heart of God. It makes Him live and dwell in us (Psalm22:3). We are called to be ministers to the King of kings, Jesus Christ, here on this earth. We are called to be vessels in the hands of God, so He can be gloried to His people. This ministry is aligned with the vision of our church home, R.E.D. 4 Christ Ministries, with our Pastors Nate and Brisy Ortiz. We are radical worshipers, that have been sent to help and form disciples (Matthew 28:19). We have been sent to worship Him in spirit and truth (John4:23). We do this by having an annual Boot Camp in the summer, in which we prepare future members that will join Samach Machowl. We also invite other ministries and people who are interested in praise dance. These beginners classes consist of a month of intense training, important teachings, learning how to properly use praise instruments, and learning steps with their names so we can become worshippers, with knowledge. Also, members of this ministry get together once a week to study the Word of God, practice, pray, worship, support one another, and be a united team.
We are servers, dancing warriors, who intercede in prophetic dance for the people, this city, and for the nations. We are free in Christ and we dance the victory dance so that every chain will fall before the precious feet of Jesus. We are a ministry that believes in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Our lives have been changed, and we love seeing lives being delivered through worship, obedience, dance, and through the love of God. Every step has a meaning, a purpose and a declaration. We are not performers, but worshippers through dance. We are excited to keep seeing transformation all around us. This is the year of breakthrough, and we are rejoicing today in what God is doing. We will keep working to show others His love that is poured out on
this nation, to express His promises being fulfilled, and to see a great harvest of people hungry for His presence. We invite you to take that step forward of faith; to come out your comfort zone and enjoy a dance with the King. Your life and the way you worship, will forever be changed.

BeautyTIPS THE HISTORY OF MAKEUP Humans have used cosmetics and makeup to embellish their looks and cover up blemishes since times immemorial. The life like bust of Queen Nefertiti is perhaps one of the best known portrayals of the makeup skills of the ancients. But the Egyptians were not the only ones to use various natural products to highlight their best features. Al Zahrawi, a teacher in the ancient times in Persia, authored a medical encyclopedia which had an entire chapter dedicated to cosmetics and their proper use. The Chinese painted their nails and adorned their faces with delicate designs. The Japanese actually had a kind of makeup foundation made from wax plus lipstick from safflower petals and other cosmetics. In every part of the world we can find evidence that modern makeup has evolved from roots that were very much in existence even in the ancient times. The Egyptians Show the Way Although the first account of ‘face painting’ can be found in the Old Testament, true credit for giving cosmetology and makeup its due attention, for the very first time, goes to the Egyptians. Even back in 10,000 BC, Egyptian men and women knew about oil massages and creams to make their skin soft and supple. The use of perfumes, body lotions, kohl, face colors and many other cosmetic items was very popular with these ancient people. The Egyptians believed that to be accepted by the Gods in their afterlife they needed to look good. This explains why we find beautifully painted faces on the sarcophagi unearthed from Egyptian pyramids. Busts and friezes of reigning pharaohs and his consort were also artistically decorated so that facial features were heavily highlighted to match the real person’s regular makeup. The religious connotation attached to one’s appearance ensured that perfect makeup and skin care was a very important activity in daily Egyptian life. The Biblical Meaning of the Number Three
Todd Gruden
3
means the number of completeness. As we dig into the number three, I want to give you a few different examples. (There are many more threes you can research)
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
The past is nothing more than a previous present moment. We are always in the present but we mark time using these words. God, on the other hand, is not bound by time. God is omnipresent and sees your victory while you’re in the fight. It’s a fixed fight. The enemy tries to make us think our present situation is all there is, but there is a future hope if we can keep our eyes fixed on God. WE ARE SAVED, BEING SAVED AND SHALL BE SAVED.
The Bible tells us to “work out our salvation.” Every day we learn how to live this new life. Calvary’s work saved us. Everyday we’re being renewed and in the end we will have a permanent place with God. INNER COURT, HOLY PLACE, AND HOLY OF HOLIES.
Getting into God’s presence is an experience. Many people are in the outer court. The inner
court requires relationship and the Holy Place is for worshippers who have a heart submitted to God. The Holy of Holies is where visions and fellowship with God takes place. THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE.
The way gives direction and the truth is given to you through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the master guide to all truth and the right way of doing things. Jesus is also the life of all believers. His life showed us how we can live life. PROPHET, PRIEST AND KING.
Jesus fulfills all three of these. He foreknew of things to come and became the high priest and mediator for all of mankind. He operates as King and Lord over all. He is the King of Kings, meaning ruler over rulers. The enemy is always in competition for your heart. Set your affection on things above and let God completely rule your heart. “Hold On!” Minister Jucinta Jones
T
his month my assignment from the Lord is to speak a word into the lives of every reader of this amazing magazine. One of the many things that I love about the God of our
salvation is the fact that He’s concerned about His precious people, and He has absolutely no problem speaking to us. This month I speak prophetically to those of you that have been dealing with major financial challenges, and while you know that God is able, there have been moments where your faith has truly been tested. I hear the Lord saying, “HOLD ON,” because He’s going to meet every one of your needs and as you continue to delight yourself in Him, then He will give you the desires of your heart because of your faithfulness to Him. God has many ways that He can bless His people and answer our prayers
that are according to His perfect will for our lives. We simply have to trust Him and listen attentively and obey when He speaks. I also speak to the reader that has had thoughts of suicide because you’ve been feeling alone and without hope. It seems that every time you take a step forward some type of obstacle prevents you from going any further. I say to you also to, “HOLD ON,” because your life does have a purpose, and the trial that you’re currently in is just building your testimony.
I encourage you to stand on Psalm 121 because all of your help will continue to come from the Lord. People of God you’ve come too far to quit now- I speak as a woman of God and I say that God is going to bless you beyond words, but you have to continue to hold on, and stand on the life-changing power of HIS Word. This trial is not the end of your story but the beginning of a testimony that will bless the lives of everyone who hears it!

God a YES doors will begin open in your life. I have been fortune to start a youth organization with my closes friends, and I’m telling you when we gave God a YES doors of opportunity began to open up for our ministry, not only for our ministry but for our personal Ministries as well. Saying yes to God is simply putting God first! A lot of times we tend to put everything but God first. We put the lottery first, tv, social media, addictions etc. when you put God first you will see a major change in your life. If you don’t put God first you will always FAIL. The Bible says in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Understand the key to having God’s abundant life is keeping him in his rightful place in our priorities. When you make the ultimate decision to put God FIRST your soul will prosper.
Saying yes to God is the best thing you can ever do for yourself. When we give God a YES we are simply inviting him in to take over our life. I am a living witness that if you give
