Dios les bendiga hermanos, y que mi experiencia con Dios ayudan a otros para que puedan conocer que solo Jesucristo nos salva y nos guía. Desde pequeña con mis padres y familia, buscaba a Dios en un templo católico, entre ídolos e imágenes, que profundamente mirábamos tentando captar la presencia viva de nuestro creador. Una Mañana hace doce años en camino a la Iglesia Católica, Dios me encamino hacia otra Iglesia, a un culto Evangélica. Allí probé de una manera especial el poder y el amor de Dios. La revelación de la salvación de Dios a través de su hijo vivo, lleno mi pequeño corazón y ya no era un frio crucifijo que adoraba. Adoro a Dios por esta experiencia maravillosa y sus poderosos hechos. Nunca mas he sido la misma y Dios continuara dando a conocer poco a poco, con su santo espíritu. Hoy doy gracias a Dios por su perdón. Que de muchas maneras me ha demostrado cuanto me ama y cual valiosa soy para él. Dios me ha enseñado a amar incondicionalmente y a perdonar. Hoy tengo una vida restaurada, transformada y en victoria con cada día puedo ver como mi familia y yo seguimos llegando a los pies de Cristo. Dios es bueno, digno de toda la gloria y honra. Pase por luchas innumerables, pero en todas Dios estaba presente. Me daba aliento para continuar, amor para que me consolara, esperanza y fe. Gloria a Dios la victoria siempre vino. Philippians 3:13,14 NKJV Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. In just a few weeks the summer Olympics will begin. One of my favorite events is track & field. When the runners take off, they have one goal in mind: The finish line. The prize is a medal. The runners have to look forward; if they look back, they can risk slowing down or falling. They must look forward, keep their eyes on the prize. They have to press on; even when someone passes them on the track, they have to keep pressing forward. Sometimes it’s not easy, but GREATNESS doesn’t always come easy. They may get a cramp in their legs, get overcome by the heat, run in the rain, overcome obstacles, or jump over hurdles, but they can’t take their eyes off the prize.
Sometimes we get so stuck on what was that we can’t move forward. It’s hard to move forward when you keep looking back. Genesis 19:26 talks about Lot’s wife not being able to look forward. She had a chance to leave and start a new life with her family, but she couldn’t let go of what was behind. She looked back and turned into a pillar of salt. We can’t move forward because we can’t forget the hurtful and negative words that have been spoken over us, or the painful deed that was done to us. Apostle Paul said to forget those things. Philosophies of the Shield and Buckler Parenting Module ​
The philosophy is to change the behavior of the parent by changing the parent’s mind-set. The focus is to change how the parent views their child. In most cases, when a parent contacts S&B, it is discovered that the parent has made a number of mistakes in how they interact with the child. These mistakes can range from not holding the child accountable for what they say and what they do, to rewarding bad behavior, to permitting the child to develop a sense of entitlement. These are just a few behaviors that can result in a negative response from the child. It takes more than a couple sessions to impact the mind set of an individual. It takes consistent and repetitive coaching and mentoring on the S&B concepts.
