SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING
We honour the past We rejoice in present blessings We dedicate ourselves to the future
For Reflection Education: by that I understand not merely the imparting of knowledge, but the drawing out of the powers of the mind, spirit, and body; the evoking of a reverence for the truth, and the use of the imagination in its pursuit. Michael Ramsey 100th Archbishop of Canterbury
To be sung three times:
Jubilate, ev’ry body, serve the Lord in all your ways, and come before his presence singing; enter now his courts with praise. For the Lord our God is gracious, And his mercy’s everlasting. Jubilate, jubilate, Jubilate Deo!
Commemoration We remember with thanks all those whose generosity and example have so enriched and secured our present good fortune.
Commemoration If I have been able to see further, It was only because I stood on the shoulders of giants. Isaac Newton

Thanksgiving We thank God for all his blessings
Anthem sung by Chamber Choir Look at the World Music by John Rutter Look at the world, everything all around us and marvel everyday‌..Give us thankful hearts‌. Every good gift, all that we need and cherish comes from the Lord as a token of his love. We are his hands, stewards of his bounty; His is the earth and his the heavens above.
Our God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.
Under the shadow of thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; Sufficient is thine arm alone, And our defence is sure.
Before the hills in order stood, Or earth received her frame, From everlasting thou art God, To endless years the same.
Our God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, Be thou our guard while troubles last, And our eternal home.
We thank God for this School, and for those who founded and endowed it, for those by whose example we learn: We thank you Lord

MEET TSETSI “I am accomplishing one of my dreams- I am going to university! The House of Opportunity helped me not to end up in prostitution or crime. I never had to steal to eat. I have seen this happen to other young people: they didn’t have another choice. Once I am up on my feet, I will be helping this house like it helped me.”

And did those feet in ancient time Walk upon England's mountains green And was the holy lamb of God On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here Among those dark Satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold, Bring me my arrows of desire, Bring me my spear, O clouds unfold, Bring me my chariot of fire.
I will not cease from mental fight Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand, 'Til we have built Jerusalem In England's green and pleasant land.
Dedication Our response and commitment to the future Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses ...............let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1
Prayers Refrain All sung once Ubi Caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.
(Where Love is there is God)
Our Father, which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen
Sung Once Ubi Caritas et amor, Deus ibi est.

When I needed a neighbour, were you there, were you there? When I needed a neighbour, were you there? And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, were you there?
I was hungry and thirsty, were you there, were you there? I was hungry and thirsty, were you there? And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, were you there?
I was cold, I was naked, were you there, were you there? I was cold, I was naked, were you there? And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, were you there?
When I needed a shelter, were you there, were you there? When I needed a shelter, were you there? And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, were you there?
When I needed a healer, were you there, were you there? When I needed a healer, were you there? And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, were you there?
Wherever you travel, I’ll be there, I’ll be there, Wherever you travel, I’ll be there, And the creed and the colour and the name won’t matter, I’ll be there!
