CURRICULUM INFORMATION At the Senior School Presentation Evening in September, parents will have an opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and discover which topics will be taught and the areas of study covered throughout the year.

STROUD SPIRIT The school is a member of the Pre Senior Baccalaureate, PSB, and works in tandem with over 30 schools nationwide to ensure our education model focuses on the development of skills alongside the acquisition of knowledge. At Stroud, outside of our core values of Honesty, Respect and Happiness, we have chosen to focus on six key personal attributes and refer to these as the Stroud Spirit: Collaboration, Communication, Curiosity, Independence, Leadership and Resilience. In Year 7 and Year 8, children start the formal PSB two-year course, taken with a 30 minute Stroud Spirit tutor session each week, containing structured activities and self-reflection. In the Summer Term, children will complete a Stroud Spirit project. This will be led by the English department and be supported by Stroud Spirit tutors and all Senior School teaching staff. At the end of Year 8, pupils will receive a Stroud Spirit certificate along with a report, completed by both tutors and the pupils that reflects on the areas of strength, as well as areas for continued development.
