Existing Zoning and Land Use

As would be expected, land-use follows existing zoning. The Suburban Metropolitan Zoning district is quite permissive in terms of land-use, allowing uses from residential to commercial and light industrial. An overlay or zoning rewrite would not be needed to diversify the current land-use mix, and higher density residential developments have already been approved within the sub-district.
