An opportunity to learn how to use a sewing machine and learn various Textile techniques such as gathering, free-hand embroidering and appliqué. Small mini outcomes will be produced for pupils to take away with them.

Beginners’ Silversmithing
Pupils will learn the basic silversmithing skills to be able to create some beautiful pieces of work. We will be working with a variety of metals to start off with, moving on quickly to real sterling silver (.925). Projects include making bangles, rings, pendants, earrings, dog tags and more. Pupils will learn how to use the tools needed to work with silver including using the piercing saw, texturing hammer, letter stamps and how to file and polish.
