MALE
MENTAL HEALTH
MOVEMBER Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. You don’t have to be male to have a look at these articles, because we all have husbands, brothers, fathers and friends who need our advice and support. Here are some of our staff who have grown moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health. Thanks to Mr Eriksson, Mr Gibbins and Mr White for being good sports and taking some selfies.
Boys have told us that they find it particularly difficult accessing information as a result of unhelpful gender stereotypes, hence why King’s is giving it a special mention this month.
