Logun Lindquist Buck was hunting on the 2nd day of the 12A East late season tag. Plenty of other hunters had seen this buck, and many had him patterned for days leading up to the hunt. Fortunately for me, the buck switched up his behaviors and moved a canyon over where I happened to be glassing. The buck is a 10x6, with a 10-inch drop tine scoring 225".

Ortiz Buck I harvested this archery buck in September of 2021. The buck lived on public land, and I had been after him for three years. I have tons of trail cams pics and video of him, and I put in an insane amount of time scouting. The second morning of my hunt, I found the buck bedded, and put a stalk on. The wind switched, and the buck took off but stopped for a moment at 30 yards, and that’s when I made the shot count. I hunted the Oak Creek Unit in 2021 with my bow. I had a couple of earlier misses on this buck, and finally had him bedded in a spot that was ideal. I snuck within 35 yards of him and waited hours for him to stand. At 7pm, the buck stood up to feed while I drew back and hit him with a perfect heart shot. I had only seen this buck a few times, and never for very long, but I knew he had to be in the area. He finally made a mistake when he stood from his cattail bed at 50 yards.
