Today we celebrate one part of that symhiosi. - the Research of Sir Jame Blac~ Nohel Laureate and the Research Laboratories of the James Black Foundation. The foundation - a non-profit making company - is bedded down within King' College. It will draw upon the technical and adm ini trative support of the College - for example in the fruit. of library automation. Based at Half Moon Lane, Jl i in the clo est proximity to the School of Medicine and Dentistry with its related ho. pital in Denmark Hill and Dulwkh. Indeed, it was the then Dean of the School, r Leonard Cotton, who, upon Sir J ame.' fir. t introduction to the ollege welcomed him to the Medical School and to the Chair of Analytical Pharmacology. Together they shared foresight and planning with the marvellou outcome which we celebrate today.
