However, I am already gClling a feel for the College and how it goes about it busines and I mu t say I am impres 'cd with the quality of the p ople I ha e met Illead of Schools, for example, are a very r cent innovation but I have a firm impre ion thalthey are fulfilling their role in a very effective way. Each eem LO have an excellent feci for the activitie of hi. School and to be consciou of the prc 'surc - political, financial and academiC - to which the College, like all unl\' r itie , i being subjected. I also get the impre sion that tho e I have met work hard and arc commilled to their jobs, so all in all I am eryencouraged, A major ta k confronting u i the preparation of our Academ ic Plan how do you think thi ha gone? ['vc been able to do lillle more than keep abreast of the di cu ions but I'm imprcsscd with the way the plan has developed. It was clear that some difficult d ci ion had to be taken but those involved eem to have faced up to the realitie and not baulked at grasping a
