HIGH SCHOOL YEARS AT RUTGERS PREP
Rutgers Prep welcomes students ranging from pre-kindergarten to seniors in high school. Those international students who are academically ready, and who have the appropriate language level, are able to enter the school directly in years 9 to 11. Location: Rutgers Prep Level: Minimum TOEFL iBT 80. Completed at least 8 years of schooling. Minimum GPA of 3.0 Length: 1 – 4 academic years
Curriculum The curriculum at Rutgers Prep offers students opportunities to take classes ranging from introductory to college level. Students receive strong foundations in the core academic subjects while at the same time enjoying the flexibility to explore areas of personal interest. Within the curriculum students find typical classes in academic subjects and the arts, as well as more unique classes and signature programs that are specific to Rutgers Prep and its mission.
Class schedule Classes run Monday – Friday from 8.20am to 2.20pm. Provision is also made during the school day for clubs and community time over lunch as well as music ensembles or PE in the afternoons. The school day finishes at 3.05pm.
University progression Rutgers Prep syudents go on to win places at the top universities in the US. Recent progresison destinations have included top 10 universities such as Princeton University, Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania and John Hopkins University.
Rutgers Prep’s Boarding School Bridge Program provides the opportunity for 8th grade international students to spend a year preparing for American high school—serving as a bridge between middle school and high school. The one-year program allows students to learn subjectarea content, improve test scores, and develop skills they need to succeed in a competitive and collaborative high school curriculum. Upon completion, students can apply for a place at Rutgers Prep, or at other boarding schools in the US.
Rutgers Prep’s year-long American College Bridge Program serves as a bridge between high school in a student's home country and college in the United States. The program provides students with solid preparation at a top independent school, while giving them the time to develop stronger language, research, and study skills in preparation for the rigors of college in the United States. They are able to receive a Conditional Letter of Acceptance from Rutgers University.

ACCELERATED BRIDGE PROGRAM
ARTS PATHWAY
This program is designed for international 11th or 12th grade students who need to complete one or two years of High School before university. It can provide an accelerated pathway to degree graduation because it allows students to earn college credits which enable them to complete an undergraduate degree course in just two years. The curriculum has been developed in conjunction with Martin Luther School. Upon successful completion of the Accelerated Bridge Program, students will earn a formal High School Diploma.
Students who are accomplished at art, and who need to improve their English for university while preparing a portfolio of artwork can decide to follow a dedicated Arts Pathway at Concordia. Students receive a Conditional Letter of Acceptance to Concordia College, which allows them to enroll in credit-bearing Art and Design courses at Concordia, while completing the Kings Undergraduate Preparation Program.
