USA UNIVERSITY PATHWAYS

On Campus Plus Your degree. Your way On Campus Plus is our unique pathway to your dream university. It is available in the most popular international study destinations. It also enables you to complete your degree in just four years, without the need for a pre-sessional “Year 0”. DEGREE YEAR 1 Start on campus at a Host School in California, New York City, New York State, Boston or New Jersey.

The Kings US Advantage 1. The Path to Your Dream School Because our pathways extend to Year 4, not just to Year 1, with Kings where you begin your degree doesn’t have to be where you finish. Built-in flexibility means we can create a personalized path to the dream school from which you will graduate.

DEGREE YEARS 2 – 4 After year one, your options really open up

Option 1 Stay on campus

YOUR DREAM SCHOOL

Every Host School will guarantee that you can progress through all four years to graduation, provided you continue to meet the relevant academic standards.

2. Study Like an American You’ll share degree classes with American students and will be taught by university faculty. So, you’ll feel part of American college life from Day 1. You’ll also complete your degree as fast as American students.

Option 2 Transfer to a Partner Progression University You are guaranteed to progress on to the second or third year at a choice of Progression Schools, subject to meeting their entrance criteria. TOEFL and SAT can be waived for some transfer students.

3. Built-in Transfer Options Our 1+3, 2+2, or 3+2 progression options are based around the US transfer system, used by millions of Americans each year. So you can either stay on campus for the whole of your degree or aim for a top school to complete your major.

Option 3 Transfer to your personal target university We can also help you aim as high as possible by identifying and transferring to an alternative Progression University which perfectly fits your academic ambitions and ability.

10

6. Fast and Cost-Effective

Whether you choose to stay at the same university for all four years, or transfer after Years 1, 2 or 3 — you still have the certainty of guaranteed progression to your degree.

With Kings, there is no need for the usual "Year 0" pre-sessional year. You will start your degree course from Day 1 and can finish it in four years, just like an American. So you’ll save both time and money.

5. Expert University Counseling

7. Expert Academic Preparation Before your degree program, you can follow the Undergraduate Preparation Program delivered on campus at the Kings Center. It combines language and study skills with TOEFL preparation. SAT preparation is also available during your degree.

Kings Social Responsibility

FURTHER INFORMATION

At Kings, teaching and learning is at our core. For us, though, it doesn’t just take place in the classroom. Instead, we view teaching and learning as a broad and constant process which enables us all to become better citizens — locally and globally.

48

We aim to make a difference across three main areas within Kings Social Responsibility — Sustainability, Community and Education. For more details, visit kingseducation.com/ksr

Sustainability

Community

Education

Kings Education is committed to developing and implementing policies which allow us to operate in an environmentally sustainable way.

Our campuses are active and dynamic communities of teachers, support staff and students who come to us from over 80 countries.

Our ethos is to provide each of our students with a broad educational experience, both in and out of the classroom.

We are also committed to nurturing a culture in which a heightened awareness and responsiveness to a sustainable life is encouraged.

We are committed to encouraging students and staff to play an active role within their wider communities at the local and global level.

This might be within their learning programme, as part of their extracurricular activities or within the wider context of their local communities.

We have active policies relating to energy consumption, transport and recycling.

We are also dedicated to making a positive difference in each of the communities to which we belong — locally, nationally and internationally.

Kings Education is proud to support United World Schools. The UWS vision is simple but purposeful: "To teach the unreached". United World Schools builds and sustains new schools in some of the world's most disadvantaged regions. UWS supports communities by providing free basic education for children who would otherwise go without.

Fundraising and student engagement Kings Education has committed to fund the building and resourcing of at least one new school each year, focusing initially on Cambodia. To do this we will engage students, staff and partners in devising exciting fundraising ideas.

We seek to involve our students in our partnership with UWS. We raise awareness through presentations and discussions, as well as incorporating the work of UWS within our academic curriculum. Students can also work towards a UWS Global Citizenship award.
