About the program

The High School Completion Program gives students aged 16+ a head start in their path to a US degree. The Program consists of a class-based Undergraduate Preparation Program plus academic subject modules.

The Program consists of a class-based Undergraduate Preparation Program plus academic subject modules. The class-based Undergraduate Preparation Program is delivered in our centers in Boston, New York and Los Angeles. The academic modules are delivered via an online program in a monitored environment with a Kings facilitator. The syllabus is delivered in an exclusive association with Penn Foster High School (PFHS)-the largest accredited online High School in the world.

Accreditation Penn Foster High School is accredited for grades 9 – adult by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Licensing Penn Foster High School is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

Level: Minimum TOEFL iBT 61 (Students should have one year of high school in their home country remaining) Length: 1 term Minimum age: 16 Lessons: 25 hours per week class-based lessons including 10 hours of monitored structured study per week Maximum class size: 15 Learning outcomes: à Complete high school education with recognized qualification in readiness for an undergraduate program à Raise English to level required for undergraduate study à Gain study skills required for a pre-university program at Kings

Course structure and content 1. The University Preparation Program 15 hours per week class-based lessons. This intensive, class-based course integrates with and prepares students for their degree program. 2. The Academic Syllabus Approximately 10 hours per week of monitored structured study dependent on credits needed for program completion. This carries on from the point they have reached at their home high school.
