Face coverings are also required at all times in transportation hubs, including train stations, bus stops, and airports.
Quarantine and COVID testing: After arrival in Boston, you will quarantine until you have the opportunity to test on your orientation day. Until your test results have been confirmed (usually 24 hours), you will be required to remain in quarantine. You will receive your results on CoVerified, an app that tracks COVID tests & symptoms.
Face coverings are mandatory in public indoor settings.
Onwards from Arlington Street station to Fisher College Residence:
Lyft or Uber app car service: Download the application to your phone, create an account, and connect a credit card. At the airport, depending on which terminal you are at, head to the nearest AppRide/TNC pickup lot. This is where all Uber drivers will pick you up. Use the app to select the pickup location nearest you and call a car. You’ll need your housing booking confirmation with the address ready to book. Check the license plate and driver before getting in. Public taxi: Students should proceed to official taxi stands outside every terminal at the airports. Ensure you have your housing booking confirmation with the address ready to show the taxi driver. Also ensure you have enough US$ to pay for the ride in case the taxi doesn’t take credit cards. It is OK to ask for the price beforehand, even if it will be an estimate. Public transport (T) Take a free shuttle bus from the terminal (bus 22,33, or 66). COVID-19
Pre-arrival guide: Kings Boston
School Safety All students, faculty, and staff who will live, learn, and work on Fisher campus/Kings Boston, or who will participate in Fisher in-person activities must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by September 6th. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose. Fisher College will accept vaccines approved by the following three organizations: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Immunization against COVID-19 will allow for increased on-campus activities and will also greatly reduce the risk of transmission. Vaccines are free and currently available to all individuals in Massachusetts at pharmacies, community centers, and various other locations. Fully vaccinated individuals will no longer have to be tested for COVID-19 on a regular basis. Classrooms will return to normal capacity and activities will once again take place throughout campus. All students, staff, faculty, and visitors are required to wear face coverings in university spaces indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
What happens if there is a positive COVID-19 case?
