Continuing King’s students who are in good academic standing can select courses during the course registration period via the Student Center. King’s students who are “On Probation” must have their course selection approved by responding to the “On Probation” email they received. Please note that first-time registrants at King’s must receive academic counselling prior to course selection/registration. If you have not already done so, please book your Summer Academic Orientation (SAO) appointment: http://kings.uwo.ca/sao

King’s Course Registration Requirements: • • • • •

Full-time students (3.5-5.0 courses) must have at least 3.0 courses at King’s. Part-time students (0.5-3.0 courses) must have at least half of their courses at King’s. If a course is offered at King’s, it cannot be taken at Western or another affiliate college. A course at Western may only be chosen if it is not offered at King’s, Brescia or Huron. Students who may be unable to fulfill residency requirements because required or principal courses are not available at King’s should contact the Academic Dean’s Office. Enrolment Services will monitor course registrations during on-line and in-person registration periods to ensure that students meet residency requirements. Students may be removed, without notice, from courses in which they are ineligible to register. Potential scholarship recipients must ensure course requirements are met. For details on course registration and application information on Awards, Scholarships and Bursaries, see: http://www.kings.uwo.ca/current-students/money-matters/scholarships-awards-and-bursaries

Registration Start Times:

During the main registration period for Fall/Winter courses, course selection dates are grouped by year in the following sequence: • Year 4 Students The week of June 18th • Year 3 Students The week of July 2nd • Year 2 Students The week of July 9th Note: Year 1 Students are not competing for the same courses as senior students, therefore, they may select courses at any time during the enrolment period after they have received academic counselling. To register for Fall/Winter courses, you will receive a registration start time. This registration start time is available via the Student Centre, where you will also register. An email is sent to your Western e-mail account to inform you when this information is available. Your registration start time is your earliest web registration date; you can continue registering after this point, but it is recommended you utilize your scheduled registration start time for best course selection.
