“Every day as an agent at CAA is very different which is what keeps it interesting. We start the day in staff meetings discussing new clients, closed deals, and ways to create new business. An agent spends most their time on the phone speaking to clients, buyers, lawyers and producers. We hear ideas, procure jobs, find and read material and field and negotiate deals for our clients. We are there to keep the trains moving on clients’ projects and to find career moving jobs.”
“I am a talent agent at WME, the largest global talent and entertainment agency, and I have the pleasure of working with many talented content creators and storytellers. I focus on television and represent broadcasters, journalists, and notable political figures; producers and production companies; and content platforms and publishers. My clients work for organizations like CNN, ABC, and NBC News, and create and produce content for platforms like Apple TV, Hulu, and HBO. Programs I’ve set up include “Tamron Hall” and “Judge Jerry,” both in national syndication; “History of Comedy” for CNN Original Series; and “Explained” for Netflix, among others. Other notable clients include the executive producers of “CBS This Morning” and “NBC Nightly News;” the first Muslim to moderate a Presidential debate and the third Black woman to moderate a Presidential debate; and the first author to have 8 entries on the New York Times Best Sellers list at the same time.”
