VACAPAF College Chapters’ Conference 2019

VACAPAF COLLEGE CHAPTERS’CONFERENCE

Phirst District “One of the proposals of the report of Brother Charles Broaddus, Eastern Regional Vice President, called attention to a State Conference of Alpha Phi Alpha chapters which had been held in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, February 14. This was an annual statewide meeting with approximately 75 brothers in attendance. The state of Virginia had 17 chapters and other chapters were very close to it which made the plan for a state conference an effective area assembly. This result caused other states to think in terms of similar conventions.” - The History of Alpha Phi Alpha: A Development in College Life, Page 415
