SHARES “We firmly believe that construction must adhere to the highest standards of quality. Quality encompasses various aspects such as design, project management, workmanship, choice of materials, and more. While quality is often considered an abstract concept, it can be quantified, measured, and translated into tangible construction outcomes to fulfill the specific needs and expectations of our clients and owners. It’s essential to note that achieving quality in construction is heavily influenced by the design and the unique requirements set forth by our clients and owners.” Er. Satish Shrestha BE Civil Engineering Director

“As architects, we view architecture as the embodiment of our existence in the world. Our lives are intertwined with the global surroundings of nature, the universe, technology, development, civilization, and various contexts. We continuously observe and experience these elements, shaping our understanding and needs. These needs find expression in architectural design, and this design is intricately rooted in the specific context. In this way, architecture becomes the authentic manifestation of the life process into reality.”

Ar. Kiran Basukala Bachelor in Architecture MSc in Construction Mgmt. Chief Architect

“Structural design is fundamentally informed by architectural design. It is the structural design that establishes the blueprint for the construction technologies to be employed, ultimately guiding the transformation of architectural concepts into tangible reality.” Er. Alija Shrestha BE Civil Engineering Structural Designer

“Architecture involves the creation of spatial designs that cater to the specific needs of clients and owners while taking the surrounding context into account. The design process often entails iterative revisions and refinements to arrive at the final result. This end product is a reflection of the architectural endeavors and serves as the foundation for the subsequent construction phase.” Ar. Saru Duwal Bachelor in Architecture Junior Architect

VASTU HOUSE Location : Rose Village, Balkot, Bhaktapur Site Area: 3558.1 Sq.Ft.(0-10-1-2.34) RAPD Built-up Area: 3820.0 Sq.Ft. The VASTU House is a residence designed in full compliance with Vastu principles. Initially, the site underwent a thorough evaluation by a Vastu expert, and based on their consultation and Vastu guidelines, a functional plan was crafted. It’s important to note that the central part of the building, known as Bhramasthan according to Vastu principles, has been left open and unobstructed to allow for natural skylight. This design feature creates both vertical and horizontal connections within the building. Vertically, the entire structure is centered around the Bhramasthan, which remains open to the sky. Horizontally, the building is organized in accordance with its various functions, as dictated by Vastu principles. In terms of the exterior design, it takes cues from the neighborhood context, situated in Rose Village, Balkot. The exterior design elements include stone textures, a cream color palette, a slight sloping roof, glass features, and tile cladding. These elements are carefully integrated into the design to blend with the surrounding buildings and the overall character of the area. CHAPAGAUN RESIDENCE Location : Chapagaun Lalitpur Site Area: 1470.94 Sq.Ft.(0-4-1-0.7) RAPD Built-up Area: 2308.87 Sq.Ft. Chapagaun Residence is situated on a cliff with a preplanned 4-meter road. The site naturally slopes, with the building elevated approximately 4 feet and 6 inches above the existing ground level. The primary design challenge is to address the steep 19-degree slope. Additionally, the design must meet the owner’s requirements for a rental flat system on the ground floor and allocate the remaining floors for the owner’s personal spaces. To achieve this, the main circulation for the owner and the raised steps for the rental floor have been kept separate. During the design process, three levels of terraces have been strategically incorporated: i. Lower-Level Terrace: This terrace is created from a setback and is designed to serve the rental flat on the ground floor. ii. Mid-Level Terrace: This terrace is specifically designed to provide access to the magnificent scenic views from the main lobby.

PA D M A COMPLEX Location : Hallchowk, Kathmandu Site Area: 7787.79 Sq.Ft.(1-6-3-0) RAPD Built-up Area: 9925.45 Sq.Ft. The Padma Complex is a commercial building under construction in Hallchowk, Kathmandu. One of the major challenges during the construction process is the site itself. The site features a significant slope with a substantial level difference ranging from 35’ - 0” to 40’ - 0”. Additionally, the soil in the area is quite rocky, which poses a significant challenge and risk for foundation construction. In terms of design, the architect envisions that this building has a high potential for adding commercial value, as it is easily accessible from the ring road and Swayambhunath. Functionally, the design has been planned to minimize circulation space and maximize rental spaces. Taking the site context into consideration, provisions for rooftop spaces have been made to create a visually striking presence from the road and to establish an interactive space between the road and the building. This rooftop area will also provide scenic views of Kathmandu city. Two separate blocks have been positioned on the site, both featuring prominent front facades facing the road. They are separated by a 3-meter gap, with the possibility of connecting them through a bridge if needed.

MARK INTERNATIONAL KIDNEY CENTRE Location : Lazimpat, Kathmandu Site Area: 2904.19 Sq.Ft.(0-8-1-3.7) RAPD Built-up Area: 16730.35 Sq.Ft. This insulation involves the application of cement board and white stickers on the external side of the building. This innovative approach has resulted in a significant temperature reduction of approximately 50%.
