Women's Ministry
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Galatians 5:14
Welcome! This year our Women’s Council has chosen Gal. 5:14 as our theme verse: “For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” As you look through the various ministry possibilities and event descriptions in this booklet, we encourage you to ponder ways in which each of them might be used as an opportunity to love your neighbor — from the brothers and sisters in the pew beside you each week at the Kirk to your loved ones and acquaintances outside our walls in the community.

We grow together... Discipleship One of the greatest helps in living and growing in the Lord is to disciple or be discipled by another follower of Jesus. We would love to connect you with possible resources as well as another woman with whom you can pursue a discipleship relationship! We will hold a informational meeting for anyone interested in learning more on Saturday, September 9th at 9 a.m. (coffee and light snacks in the Kirk Chapel), as well as a training seminar open to all on Sunday, October 1st (light lunch after church in Rm. 213).
Thrive “Life University” We are partnering with Thrive to offer continuing discipleship for young women who have completed Thrive’s “Parent University.” Consider supporting this partnership by praying, making a meal, or donating to the resource fund.
