When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Generally all wood and laminated wood bows take 7-8 weeks to deliver upon order with an exception to a few of our specialty bows listed at the end of the page. Those listed can take from 7-12 weeks due to unique characteristics. Other items and bow accessories generally ship in 5-7 business days. Also bows with special requirements such as snake skin backing may take an additional week to complete. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weightbased. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
The following is a breakdown how each style of bow and kit is warranted: All fully finished Un-backed solid wood bows are warranted for 90 days. All fully finished bows with a glass backing or bamboo backing are warranted for 1 full year. All Kit bows are warranted for 30 days or up until sanding and work begins by the new owner. There is no warranty on un-backed floor tillered staves and bow materials. The backing on laminated bows is the only item covered under this warranty. It is fully at our discretion to decide if a bow had delaminated as a result of our manufacturing or materials. Keep in mind heat may cause de-lamination. All Products in question for warranty work or replacement must be returned to J Cross Archery for inspection. We will not replace any bow or product that has been misused or abused. It is at J Cross Archery’s full discretion to revoke or honor the warranty depending on the outcome of the inspection. There are absolutely no exceptions to the return policy. We will not replace any item under warranty that is not returned. Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer. The following reasons specifically void warranty: Dry Firing the bow (shooting the bow without a proper weighted arrow on the string) Stringing the bow backwards Storing the bow in a hot area (Hot vehicle , above heaters or fire places ,direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time ,stoves etc) Improperly stringing the bow Over drawing the bow beyond the specified draw length (draw length is written on the bow) Holding the bow at full draw for more than 3 seconds.(Compound bow techniques cannot be used on traditional wood bows) OVERSEAS ORDERS SHIPPING RISK This same warranty is applied to all of our products going overseas. However all return shipping must be prepaid by the customer before delivery will be made. There is a mentionable risk for purchases made by overseas customers. Shipping costs overseas is quite high and therefore it must be established that all shipping costs for warranty work, repair or replacement is the sole responsibility of the customer regardless of the origin of the problem whether it is a manufacturing mistake or a customer mistake. If any problems arise and an item must be returned for any reason regardless of who made the mistake all shipping costs to and from our factory is the responsibility of the customer. We realize this may be a burden to any overseas customer and we apologize. However, we will always strive to make every item to the best of our ability with the highest standard of quality. We can, however make mistakes from time to time and we want each overseas customer to be aware of the risk and possible costs. We
