The brief Design a black and white pattern that can be used across a range of stationery products to be sold in Paperchase stores.
Concept Inspired by current range styles within Paperchase stores and the products that they selll, the pattern deisgn has been applied to a range of different products in at least two different ways to showcase the flexiability of the design in a way that still makes the range work as a whole.
The brief Design a series of illustrative typefaces based on popular films.
Concept Each typeface utilises certain characteristics such as colour and font style that will link it to the film it is based upon. A hand rendered approach to the typeface design adds a unique and personal edge. The typefaces are stylised yet simplistic so that each film can be distinguished.
The Brief Create a range of at least four greetings cards based on a theme to submit to YCN. After doing so, extend the brief to create a full gift range based on the greetings cards.
Concept Based on a personal love of animals and the fact the majority of people have a favourite animal too this was the chosen theme. With such a broad theme, the products should be able to cover a vast target audience. The products have a hand rendered aspect to them in order to create high quality and unique outcomes.
