Background ʻGo Paintballʼ is an idependant paintballing business based in France, located in beautiful countryside by the Charente River. ‘We cater for all types of players and groups, and our aim is to be the premier paintballing site in South West Fance.ʼ Paintball is a game, in which players compete, in teams or individually and try to eliminate members of the opposing team. They do this by hitting them with capsules containing paint (paintballs) which are fired from a paintball marker (paintball gun). The basic rule of the game is that the players must attempt to accomplish a goal without being shot with paintballs. When a player is shot, and the ball breaks they are out and leave the playing field to a safe area. This is dependent on the scenario/goal set before the game begins.

The game is regularly played by anyone and in organized competitions with worldwide leagues, tournaments, professional teams, but is also used by armies to supplement military training.

Go Paintball Professional Field: Go Paintball, like most modern fields for professional tournaments, use inflatables. This is known as ʻspeedballʼ and is played on a field 30m x 45m.

This is smaller than an amateur site making the games more intense and has a very fast pace, most games last from 1-10 minutes! Go Paintball have an assortment of 44 various inflatable bunkers, these features are tethered to the ground and are easy to reconfigure to maintain novelty of play or to stimulate a predetermined field layout for an upcoming event.

In speedball they do not use scenarios; players attempt to get the opposing team out by playing tactically and shooting them quickly.

Go Paintball Amateur Field: Go Paintballʼs amateur site is designed for casual games and lots of fun, the outdoor area is approximately 5 acres. The game field is an open area scattered with natural terrain, which players use for strategic play. There is also a wooded area with lots of foliage for cover and forts to invade.

To determine the particular goal of the game a scenario is chosen in which players role play and can attempt to recreate historical or fictional settings.

Go Paintball Leauges are also in place.

Considerations The branding for the company will need to be produced on a low budget.

How can the typical assocication with paintballing be broken to make ʻGo Paintballʼ stand out from other paintballing companies.
