elcome to the KIS WIZARD, the last Primary magazine of the year. A huge amount has happened in PYP since the last WIZARD back in December. The team have been working together all term to put together another thirty six pages of KIS stories, sports, interviews and features on a dizzying array of subjects. Look out for interviews and the article about the very first KIS Primary movie ROBOT, a sci-fi thriller about an uninvited guest from the other side of the galaxy.
Good luck to Grade 5 who leave PYP for the big school. You’ve had a brilliant year with Miss Jacqui and Mr John and after two years being your techers they will miss you. We all will!

Before I sign off, I’d like to thank the KIS community and all the wonderful students for helping me to have such a fabulous two years at KIS. I am heading back to England where my wife and I will spend time with our baby girl as well as family and friends. I also hope to make a film or two. I’ll be sure to visit when we return. EDITOR PAGE The last WIZARD of the year features the work of no less than twenty students from G3 to G5. It’s by far the biggest editorial team the Primary Magazine has seen in it’s two year history. The varied content of the WIZARD is the result of each member’s interests and a reflection of their personalities. Hi, I am Genie from Grade 3. I went to The Voice Kids. It was so much fun and I wasn’t nervous at all. I love singing and I appreciate that my parents supported me. The Ferrari FF packs a 6.3-liter V12 that produces 651 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 504 lb-ft. of torque at 6,000 rpm. Mounted entirely on the front axle for optimal weight distribution, the motor teams with a rearmounted seven-speed dual-clutch automatedmanual gearbox that provides smooth yet lightning-fast shifts. Top speed is 335 kph, and Ferrari says that the FF can sprint to 100 kph from a dead stop in just 3.7 seconds.
The spec of the Jaguar XKR-S with The GT. It has a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 is rated at 550 horsepower at 6500 rpm, and it produces 502 lb-ft of torque from 2500 rpm. For the Lamborghini Superleggera, Lamborghini has been able to squeeze another 10 horsepower from the standard Gallardo's directinjection V10. The 570 horsepower motor can sprint to 100 kph in just 3.4 seconds and on its way to a 202 mph top speed. The Aston Martin has been powered by a 5.9-liter V-12 engine, it is expected to produce over 565 horsepower at 6,750 RPM and 620 NM (457 LB FT) at 5,500 RPM. The Grade 5 exhibition is a project which has lasted for about 2 months. It marks the end of our journey throughout PYP. It is a learning experience and a celebration. During the exhibition we followed our inquiry using the Grade 5 inquiry model.
Grade 5 students enjoyed working with their chosen community. Noah enjoyed selling his posters in the school so he could raise money to save animals. Another person who enjoyed doing a sale was Mai and Guy. They sold bags to protect a mangrove forest. Jehan enjoyed seeing his community happy after watching his animation. Omm liked making and selling brownies in her community and teaching kids about how to make book boxes with fabric. Kenji and Page 12
his group were happy when they were playing and teaching orphan kids about digital art. Marc enjoyed building his sculpture with other kids to decrease shyness. Alex and his group enjoyed doing a lot of things with their community such as having fun, painting their school and cooperating with each other.
The next step in our inquiry model is to take action and many people are planning to change their art form and work on their issue. Some are even planning to change everything they did. Everyone during this process has felt it was challenging but worthwhile. The whole of Grade 5 has found this one of the most memorable experiences in their lives. Page 13

Table tennis tournament This year's table tennis tournament was won by KIS! The people that participated in the tournament were Grade5: Oscar, Peer, Mai and Alex and in Grade 3: Nikky, Elias, Alyse, and Judicael. The KIS TISAC team brought back the trophy and hopefully we the kis team will win and bring back the trophy again. The champions of the table tennis tournament for the U9 under nine table tennis tournament were Nikky coming second was Concordian, a chinese school with the dragon mascot. Third place went to Judicael, fourth place Elias and for the U9 girls champion or first place was Alise The second place was St. Andrews 71, third place Ascot and coming fourth I am not quite sure. The u11 champion was Alex, second is Peer, third is Mai and fourth is Oscar.

Interview of ROBOT, the Movie GUEST EDITORS!
Hi our names are Vikram and Martin. We are from Grade 5 and have interviewed the main characters of “ROBOT the Movie� which are Thomas James May and Eksha Chawla. Enjoy our Interview.
What is the Movie about? It is about a robot, coming from outer space and erasing peoples minds. What were difficulties about the movie? Remembering lines and not getting distracted. What was a fun part? Working with friends, acting and being in a secret room. What were your characters personalities? Thomas: Smart. Eksha: Dreamy/Imaginative Would you act in a movie again? Eksha: No because it is hard work. Thomas: Of course! If you would play in another movie, what kind of character would you be? Thomas: The smart one. Eksha: An extra!

Mr Schlinky (Mr Chris)
Steer clear of Mr Schlinky. He’s arrogant, angry and enjoys nothing more than delivering lectures at the after school detentions he runs on a daily basis. Nasty teacher rating 5/5
Ms Baxter (Miss Kate)
The Primary astrophysics teacher is passionate about science and astronomy. She is reknowned amongst her fellow teachers for her expansive knowledge of Russian space missions (1963 -1984). The students rate her as possbly the dullest teacher in the school.
Mr Patteson (Mr Simon) is an incredibly hard working member of staff with a passion for modern agricultural methods including pig farming. He often works into the night with just his small transistor radio for company dreaming of rearing swine in far off country.
Glenn (Marc) and his sidekick buddy Pete (Rohit) have been
causing misery in the playground all year. They have taken a special dislike to Sanya who always manages to escape them.
Sanya (Eksha) is a dreamer who struggles at
school. In her lessons her teachers think her lazy and recalcitrant, in the playground shes pursued by the school bullies. Terrence knows her as a creative friend with a powerful imagination. Terrence (Thomas) prides himself on his joy of knowledge and particularly enjoys science fiction comics and films. He’s best friends with Sanya.
ROBOT FACT FILE!
• It took 30hours to film ROBOT - that’s over one hour for every minute of the finished film! • Including all the cast, crew and extras a total of 50 students and teachers were involved in making the film. • During the filming of ROBOT Mr Simon and Mr David accidently set fire to the school field! Hello my name is Ray. Today I will tell you how Apple and Samsung think! Really they think in very different ways, Apple think “Why is it for?” But Samsung thinks “What is it for?” Next I'll tell you why they survive until now while some old companies haven't!
How they survive? Apple (Steve Jobs) do think that there should be just one model, every 2 years. Every year they will make a minor update (software change: the S version 3GS, 4S)! But unlike this Samsung, launch loads of models. Apple don't make their best on every model to make them sell a lot! But Apple concentrates really hard on one thing only, the i's (iPhone, iPad, iPod). Since the Galaxy S2 has come out, the world has been buying less Apples and after Steve Job’s death, Apple is now in deep trouble because of Steve jobs special way of thinking. Apple have been getting less people buying them! Where as Samsung is getting more people buying more of them! This is a timeline of Apple, till today!

Grade 3 Khao Khiew residential trip The grade 3 class were going to Khaa Khiew second residential trip and we are going to Go Gibbon on the second day. We were there two nights three days. When we are at Chonburi we went to Underwater World first. When we were inside they gave a sheet of paper to write on. On the sheet they told us to write the fishes names that they showed us the picture. I saw many types of fishes that I never seen before. Next we went for our lunch. Then we went to our Es-ta-te tent. The teachers chose boys sleep with boys, girls sleep with girls. When the teachers already chose our group we have to go to our tent. After going to our tent we went to play a game called capture the flag. Mr. Vern was there to to explain the rules and take care of us. For dinner we have choices to choose foods and drinks. The next day we went for breakfast I ate bread and egg. Then we went for a walk at night safari and we saw penguins, they were baby ones. We saw many kinds of animals that we didn't see before.Then we went to a cafe to eat lunch.When we finished eating lunch we went to Go Gibbon. It was very fun it looks like we are flying.We finish it at the afternoon at 16:53.Then we went to shower.For dinner we ate fried chicken,soup,BBQ and some orange juice.This is the last day sleeping here so we had a big crackers and marshmallow party.Then we were so sleepy then we decided to stop the party and go sleep. The next day was the last day in the morning we went to Talad Nam si park.We went to shopping there and eat something.I buy a sling shot there to play with. After that we went to KIS and then we went home.

Hello my name is Prem .I would like to give you some tips about playing Minecraft. I've been playing for a long time, now. I like Minecraft because it shows kids about using your own ideas and building some cool stuff. I also like it because you can play on servers and multiplayers. Um... oh Minecraft is easy but it would be easier if you found a temple and dungeon. It is not hard to find you just dig down and if you and if you have you have luck you will find the dungeon that sometimes have lapis or iron. Maybe even diamond but it is so rare that I found it only once. I will tell you how to get gold and iron. Step 1, you dig maybe 5 steps for iron . Step 2, you dig almost like um.... oh you dig almost like more than 20 layers so you will take a long time to find gold or diamond.

Hi guys. My name is Szilvi and I will be writing about the fabulous trip the Grade 4s had in Ayutthaya.
We were going on our first residential field trip. We were ready to go to Ayutthaya! Well most of our time in Ayutthaya we were at temples. We stayed at one temple for 3 hours! We stayed in a 5 star hotel which had a bowling place and a swimming pool. We had awesome food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our breakfast was a buffet with an amazing taste. Our rooms were really clean, not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere. All of us enjoyed our first residential trip to Ayutthaya.
No one wanted to leave the hotel but everyone wanted to go home and do something relaxing and meet their parents again. They did not get hurt at all! The sights and the sounds were so amazing that no one wanted to miss out on anything. Unfortunately the time came that we needed to go home, so we had to say good bye to the ancient ruins and the beautiful sights and sound that we may never see again. :(
But we still have something to remind us of this amazing place and tourist attraction. On the very last day, we went to a big place which had a lot of work shops and you could by things there. We bought so much stuff! Could you believe it? I bought something for all of my family member! Their were about 15 of them and I managed to buy something for all of them! There were tears of joy all over the place when the class finally got back to school!

When we got off the bus the first thing we did was find our parents. We were very happy even though we would need to go back to school. But we all knew that that would not be the last time we went to Ayutthaya. I can make you drool like a dog (Well only if you weren’t there!!!) I GOT proof!! The title even explains it, it's fun!!!
For some of you who hate those sprays and didn't come this year, You might wanna reverse the time and come to Fun Fair this year! Later in the afternoon the teachers announced that the students aren't allowed to play or buy the sprays anymore!!!!!!!!! (It's sad for some of you who love sprays Including me.)

Rock climbing this year is much HARDER BUT MORE FUN than any other year... if you were there you will know how much fun and challenging it was and if you weren't there well too bad you just missed it! well for those who did not come you just miss one of the most fun station in fun fair.
Young kids enjoyed riding on the little cute ponies, day dreaming floating up high in the sky... but there is one problem IT STINKS!!! (of poo, not that it's bad.)
Speaking about jumping I just forgot that activity that we just miss EURO BUNGY!!!!! And here it is... Eurobungy was maybe the best activity if you are trying to find your parents!!! The Eurobungy was so high up. Those of you who are extreme you would love this!!! To tell the truth the cue was soooooooo long.
